Brahma - The Creator
Brahma is considered as the first god of the Hindu Trinity, the other being Vishnu and Shiva. Lord Brahma is recognized as the creator of the Universe. Brahma is regarded as the Supreme Being, the god of gods. Lord Brahma is the originator and the generator of the mankind. Brahma symbolizes the universal mind, as creation is the work of the mind and the intellect. If we consider this, from an individual's point, Brahma represents one's own mind and intellect. As an individual is god gifted with the mind and intellect, then it may be assumed that a person has already attained Brahma.

This could be the possible reason that worship of Brahma is not so 流行的 among the Hindu people. However, he is worshipped 由 seekers of knowledge, such as students, teachers, scholars and scientists.

Lord Brahma - The Image
Hindu God Brahma can be seen as a four-faced, four-armed, bearded deity. He carries a rose and a book in the upper hand; a water pot (Kamandala) in the lower hand and one hand is always there to bestow grace. The four faces represent the holy knowledge of the four Vedas (Riga, Yajur, Sama and Atharva). It symbolizes that Brahma is the foundation of all the knowledge required for the creation of the universe. The four arms represent the four directions and therefore symbolize that Lord Brahma is the omnipresent and the omnipotent.

The white beard conveys wisdom and the long beard gives the idea that creation is a never-ending process. The crown on the head of Brahma implies that the Lord has the supreme power and authority over the process of creation. Brahma sitting on a lotus represents the creative power of the Supreme Reality. The white color of his clothes symbolizes purity.

As per the Hindu mythology, a 天鹅 is possessed with an exceptional discerning sense, which enables it to distinguish pure 牛奶 from a mixture of 牛奶 and water. Brahma uses the 天鹅 as a vehicle, which is known for its discerning abilities. This conveys the idea that, there is only one Supreme Reality from which the entire universe emanates.

Diwali is known as the festival of lights. It falls exactly 20 days after Vijay Dashmi. We light lamps called diyas to illuminate the dark. It is known that Lord Ram came back to Ayodhya with Ma Sita and Lord Lakshman. It was dark and that's why people lit their ways with diyas. Hence this 日 is 日 is known as Deepawali.

This 日 we worship Ma Lakshmi for wealth, Lord Ganesh for intellect and Ma Saraswati for knowledge. Children get new clothes and gifts. Everyone is happy on Diwali.

But we should be careful on this 日 as thieves roam the streets.

On Diwali our homes should be spotless, bright, there should be no trash and on Dhanteras, which lands 2 days before Diwali we should buy something precious like gold, silver, etc that we can afford. Only then will Lakshmi enter our house.

Shubh Deepawali!
(Prince Siddhartha is walking in the garden in a contemplative mood. All of a sudden a bird falls down in front of him.)

SIDDHARTHA: Ah, poor bird! My 心 is bleeding for you. Who has done this? Who has hurt you? Who has aimed this 《绿箭侠》 at you? Poor, innocent bird! Let me take the 《绿箭侠》 out of your body. (He removes the arrow.) Now let me try to cure you.

(Enter Devadatta)

DEVADATTA: Siddhartha, this is my bird. What right have 你 to keep my bird? Give it to me!

SIDDHARTHA: No, this is my bird, Devadatta.

DEVADATTA: Your bird! I shot this bird. It belongs to me. This is my arrow. I aimed at...

This is a story about the pride of Brahma, our Creator. One day, Brahma was meditating. In his meditation he had gone higher than the highest, deeper than the deepest. He was in ecstasy. Brahma 说 to himself, “How I wish I could spend all my time in this sublime meditation!”

Suddenly, there appeared in front of him the most beautiful nymph, 或者 apsara. Her name was Mohini. She 说 to Brahma, “I want to marry you.”

Brahma got furious. “I was in such ecstasy, such bliss, and 你 have to come here and charm me! Never! Do not come near me. Leave me alone!”

Mohini was deeply insulted....

Lord Krishna was consumed with the desire to have a son. So he went to seek the 建议 of a particular sage. When the sage saw Lord Krishna, he was overwhelmed with joy. Everybody was shouting, “Krishna has come, Krishna has come!” and they all started worshipping Krishna.

The sage asked Krishna, “Please tell me what I can do for you. Is there anything that 你 would like me to do?”

Krishna answered, “It is a very simple thing that I want. I want to have a son. Please tell me how I can have a son.”

“Only Lord Shiva can help in this matter,” 说 the sage. “You have to pray to...

Once Brahma and Vishnu were talking and talking and talking endlessly. In everything, they are endless! When they are silent, they do not utter a word for thousands of years; and then again, when they resume talking, they can talk for thousands of years uninterruptedly.

On this occasion, they were enjoying one of their birthless and deathless talks when, all of a sudden, Shiva appeared. For some reason, Shiva sometimes assumes a very rough manner. On that day, everything about him was uncouth. Shiva is not polished like the other cosmic gods. Around his neck there are skulls; he is adorned with...

(The court.)

JUDGE: Prince, why do 你 keep a bird which belongs to somebody else? True, 你 have compassion, 你 have 爱情 for the bird. 你 have 爱情 for everything. But justice says the bird belongs to Devadatta. It was he who brought the bird down to earth. It is his possession.

SIDDHARTHA: O venerable Judge, I do not know anything about justice, but my 心 tells me that he who saves life is the owner, not he who takes life. My 心 was bleeding for the bird and I saved it. I am prepared to give my own life for this bird.

DEVADATTA: Siddhartha, 你 know how to talk. 你 know perfectly well...
