Okay, first of all I know that not everyone will agree with everything that I'm about to say and a reminder that this is just my opinion and please refrain from hurtful comments

I know that there arn't a lot of people who 爱情 Finn and Rachel on fanpop(at least that I've met from the 欢乐合唱团 spot anyway) and I thought I might add the perspective of not only a Finn and Rachel 粉丝 but a 粉丝 of each of these two characters seperatly.

So first of all, the actual nature of the proposal. Yes, I agree, Finn was in a dark place when asked Rachel to marry him and it was a hasty decision. But that doesn't mean that once he asked her that he wasn't serious about being with her forever. He loves her, and at the end of that 日 isn't that the thing that matters most? And the same thing goes for their age. Yes, they are still in highschool but just because they are young doesn't mean it can't work. If you've meet someone 你 want to spend the rest of your life with, thats all that matters. And as a 粉丝 of Finn and Rachel as seperate characters I agree that they need to figure out where they're going with their lives before they get married, but they might wait a few years to decide these things and be in a comfortable place before they get married (which is what I'm hoping will happen). I saw the ring as a promise that they will get married one day, not that they're going to get married straight away.

Now I know that people think that they are giving up their dreams in favour of getting married. I couldn't disagree more, if anything an engagement should mean that they're going to suppourt each other even 更多 then find a compromise that 《金装律师》 both of them when they know what they want to do (this applies to Finn finding his passions and what he wants to do after school and Rachel going to New York). Just because they want to get married doesn't mean that Rachel isn't going to go to New York. Shes very ambitious and Finn has been nothing but suppourtive of her, he's her biggest fan. And when Finn finds what he wants to do, I'm sure Rachel will suppourt him in the same way and they'll figure out how to make this work with their relationship. She's told him that he's special and shes right, she might even help him figure out what he wants to do (help, not decide for him).

I absolutley adore they're relationship, because its realistic. They have fights, but most couples do, and at the end of everything they come back to each other and 爱情 each other. I think that they are a beautiful characters and I hope that this has been interesting for those who arn't Finn and Rachel 粉丝 :)
