Like aholic said, it depends on the situation. But if I were a man of the Night's Watch, I would choose honor before love.

I agree that it depends on the situation, but still the love side is the one that will decide the question. I mean if you don't love somebody that much, you might choose honor, but if you really love somebody the dishonor can be as great as it wants, I'll still choose the one I love. But that's just me.

If my love or one of my family members were in danger I'd waste no time with thinking about honor or other useless things.

I agree with you delamico and MuffinFan :) If I were at the Night's Watch I wouldn't choose love because love wouldn't be an option... only honor or death. But of course love matters, and if it didn't matter this would not be a question... but then I also have to say the same thing about honor. If honor didn't matter this would not be a question either. However, when I have to decide I would choose love - I would only choose honor if choosing love made me an outlaw.

Obviously, the values of today don't even hold honor that high.
