A New 'Game of Thrones' Cast Member Has Been Revealed, But No One Knows His Character

\' sixth season will see a brand new actor. In true form, though, producers aren\'t revealing exactly what character he\'ll portray.

Season five of the show did a great job of fulfilling the story we\'ve seen from George R.R. Martin\'s books; a beautifully frustrating fact which also means that we\'re about to see a truly wild Westeros

We are now at the exclusive mercy of the show\'s writers, and we all know how that\'s going so far.

McShane is 72-years-old, and while screen manipulation can do wonders, it can\'t pull off miracles. His character is very likely in the last 30 years of his lifespan.

That said, some are favoring the theory that McShane is Euron Greyjoy, who has ostensibly spent the last five seasons cruising the sea, playing cards with his mute crew. He is, essentially, a pirate, which fits into McShane\'s look (beard, wrinkles, tan) perfectly.

Another important observation is that it\'s been speculated that season six will features lots of flashbacks. EW claims that "McShane has a relatively small amount of screen-time during the season, yet his character is of key importance," a tidbit that could support the notion that his talents will be used in a flashback scene. Take that as you will.

A more run-of-the-mill possibility is that Randyll Tarly, sweet Sam\'s dad and a character who\'s been referred to as "one of the greatest soldiers in Westeros," is finally rearing his head. 

The only issue with this theory is that Randyll would very likely have more than just a little screen-time.

Whoever McShane is, we\'re in for quite the journey this coming season, so try to stick to the
