star Kim Dickens has revealed that she would be "game" for a crossover with
Dickens, who plays Madison Clark in the AMC show, explained that she always thought there was no chance of the two shows coming together.
"I think we were just sort of led to believe early on that there was no crossover - it was a little bit different time period, a different story, different location, different characters," she told Digital Spy.
"But I don\'t think it\'s anything that\'s out of the question. I\'m sure the writers would do it in a fantastic way, but I have no idea if they\'re going to do it. I would be game for it!"
fanbase is and how mobilised and passionate they are, but I hadn\'t really been in that world so I just kind of put my head down and started working," she said.
"And then as it got closer to the release I was like, \'Oh shit, here we go! I hope they like it\'... It had so many eyes on it I really did hope that it was going to stand on its own and that it was going to be well received."
But the show ended up having cable\'s highest-rated debut season ever.
," Dickens said. "They earned that audience that looked our way, and fortunate for us we sort of hung on to them all season, so I just hope they keep coming back."
Dickens joked that she knows "like, two things" about
\'s upcoming second season and revealed that she would love more action scenes.
She also opened up about Madison\'s relationship with Travis (Cliff Curtis), saying: "Travis really holds out for the hope and that things will be taken care of and the goodness in people, and Madison was much more pragmatic and more adaptable to this sort of crumbling of society, for one reason or another. So it put them at odds, but I really believe their relationship was so strong to begin with that I have faith with them."
"I really don\'t have any clues but that\'s my hope," Dickens said. "I really felt like that relationship was strong, you know, despite the differences and different approaches."
And Dickens suggested that the show will be able to keep up the tension even though the second season has 15 episodes - far more than the six in the first season.
"We stayed unique in our approach with our slow evolution into the apocalypse so I imagine it might be a similar pacing in a very naturalistic way of every time we regroup to take moments - I don\'t think it\'s just going to take off with zombies after zombies after zombies," she said. "I think there\'s going to be a natural pace to it as there was in the first season.
