Yep.

It was useful with icons I'd made, so I could see which ones people were actually interested in... and I have a number problem, so I'd do insane things like click an image with a view count that ended in 9 just to make it end in 0. Did that with the rating cup, too. And props, when we had the old layout. And I've got a massive pile of 'fan of you' messages because I always waited until they reached a certain number to go through them, the site doesn't count them anymore. Fanpop, why won't you let me play with numbers?!

I only started fanpopping so I never saw the stats, but for me the more stats on things the better, it helps me as a new user (who has little time) to check out most viewed, most etc. first as I check out the clubs I have become a fan of.

Maybe. It could be pretty useful at times, if you wanted to find out which of your image contributions caught peoples' attention the most easily.
