Okay, this has been brewing in me for a while and I think that now is the time to bring it all out into the open.... I speak of the burgeoning conflict that is the rating-to-comment ratio.

Lets break this down; On numerous occasions, I have added various 链接 to many different sites, and always venture back to see what people think of the link, 或者 their reaction to it (be that positive, negative, 或者 even criticism towards me). But over the last few months it has become increasingly obvious that people are rating the link, but leaving no comment!

The way I see it, its like breaking into your neighbours house when they're out, having a look around and using their toilet (without flushing), and then not telling them when they get home.

I don't think I am being unreasonable in the suggestion that if 你 read a link, pick, soapbox, watch a video 或者 whatever, that 你 also leave a 评论 afterwards. I'm not asking for 你 to write a new bible chapter in a comment, but just 显示 a little appreciation, 或者 say what 你 thought... because 你 DID have a reaction to it... you're not some kind of Borg-like creature with no emotions! If you've 给 it 5 stars, then say it was good... if you've 给 it 1, then say why!

I like going back to something I 发布 and seeing the response of the fanpoppers.... it's like publishing a book and 阅读 the reviews afterwards... 你 find out what the 粉丝 did/didn't like and can either feel pleased with yourself, 或者 react accordingly.

In some cases (mostly with Picks) there is a 问题 that could really 分裂, 拆分 the field and prove to be debate-tastic... yet people seemingly vote for controversial choices, and then don't explain themselves! Its like an Army Chief announcing that the only way to achieve world peace is to kill all Gay people... then running away to do it! 你 can't say, 或者 agree to, something like that and then not explain yourself!

But mostly I think the issue lies within the '5 星, 星级 Ratings'... whenever something is rated '5 Stars' it seems to be then that people don't respond, as if they feel they don't have to 评论 after giving it a 最佳, 返回页首 rating. Whenever I see such a link with NO comments... its like when 你 saw the cloned Ripley's in Alien Resurrection.... there is just no soul (and they might as well be deformed).

As for the 链接 with 更多 ratings than comments, it's like something is missing... like someone has stolen from the link, but not 给 back. So (at risk of sounding like a Telethon) lets do it, lets give back...

Now, I 爱情 支持 as much (or more) than the 下一个 person and when I go to my page and see that someone has 给 me a 支持 I am in a happy little bubble for the rest of the day. I think this is a wonderful feature so that people can be recognized for their outstanding work. However, there is a etiquette that goes along with giving props. 支持 are something 你 should give if 你 feel that a person has contributed something funny, substantial, unique, outstanding, 或者 just plain awesome in your eyes. They are essentially a reward for hard work that 你 have done. They are like a virtual high...

As usual I'm not delusional enough to think that I can prevent spam- of course not!
But I get so tired of seeing the same things over and over in my 更新 and then typing the same stuff over and over. Also people dont seem to grasp the use of 密码 so maybe this will help some in that respect, too.

Now I know the searchbar is scary! I saw it for the first time myself when I was a new user and was reluctant to try it. Who knows what might happen when 你 click that 搜索 button!?! But one 日 I summoned all my courage I tried and it didn't hurt. Now there was a surprise! Back then there was...

Hello fanpoppers! Gabriella here with some things about Fanpop. Just wanted to say some things...

According to current 潮流粉丝俱乐部 users, the people [on fanpop] are annoying and mean. Well let me just 评论 on that- that is true!

Yeah, I could be mean at points but this is the dang internet! Nobody MUST like you! It is a choice to like one another but 你 have to 显示 some respect!

When 你 look at a user's profile. 你 may think: Oh.. so this person likes 欢乐合唱团 and scooby-doo? What 你 think is different from what 你 do. Remember that. If 你 go on their wall, before 你 post hate and though...

Quizzes:

Expand viewing answerers to ALL fanpoppers, not just from the fanlist.

Being able to 编辑 the 测试 at all times, and not just the question, but the 4 answers.

Giving 更多 creative names for super-quiz milestones, shortening them up a little, and making the current prize visible on the profile.

Giving a time to answer a quiz, people sometimes go on websites to check their answers,it's not fair!

Not making a for number of characters for answers.

Stop deleting 测验 for the wrong reasons, research it first (I know how many 测验 get reported everyday, but it's their job, isn't it?)
