Well, I started using 潮流粉丝俱乐部 back in May 2007, and since then I see how the community keeps increasing in numbers which is great. I haven't been the most active user for a while now, but as I 说 somewhere else, I've always loved the site and therefore I come back every once in a while to spend some time fanpopping.
There is something I've noticed lately, that is obviously hard to control as the amount of users grows, but I thought I would point it out. What I noticed is a serious misunderstanding of the idea behind the "props" feature.
~ Let's start with the basics, according to the Online Slang dictionary, 支持 are:
- Praise, Compliments...
I understand that all of 你 probably know this definition, but I see that some appear to have forgotten. The idea behind 支持 is to praise someone for the content added. It's to give out a compliment for the contribution made 由 the user.
I have seen, sadly, several users give ENTIRE PAGES of 支持 with the only purpose of attacking the other user, calling him/her names, bullying, insulting, etc. As I say this I'm actually scared someone will take this the wrong way and respond badly, which I honestly hope doesn't happen, because that's not the purpose of this.
I'm not going to judge anyone based on their "prop activity" because that would be ridiculous, and also I'm not familiar with the story-behind people's 支持 或者 fights. However I don't think 潮流粉丝俱乐部 is a place for verbally abusing anyone, and still, even when 你 ignore this "detail", the purpose of 支持 is not that.
Going back to Fanpop's faq, the answer to what are props? is the following:
"Fan 支持 are a way for 粉丝 to publicly express their appreciation for other 粉丝 and their contributions on the site."
As I said, I think 支持 are 给 to someone else as a praise 或者 compliment for that users' contribution on this site. Giving out entire pages of 支持 with the same message that is just verbally insulting the user, I think not only goes against the purpose of the 支持 feature, but also against the purpose of Fanpop.
Hope nobody takes this the wrong way, just thought maybe after a few things I saw, a reminder of how 支持 are meant to be used shouldn't be bad.
Also, although insulting (I think) is never ok, to resolve a personal issue, it is also possible to use the private message system.

I did it again.
I accidentally hit the "start chat" tab again.
And couldn't remember how make it go away.
I've had this problem a few times before and have to re-learn it every time.
For some reason, I'm always under the impression that the solution lies under my 个人资料 settings.
It does not.
So now there is an 文章 to remind me, and anyone else who needs it, how to get rid of this dang thang.
Step 1: Under the "contacts" tab, click "I am online." The words, not the pencil. If 你 click the pencil, it will complicate things and you'll have to reload the page.
Step 2: Click "Log out."
It's not the most obvious way out, but it's easy once 你 finally remember how to do it, so I hope this helps cut down on some frustration. (If not for you, at least for me 下一个 time I accidentally open it and frantically 搜索 for a solution. =P)

Yeah, I know this is kinda lame, but this is all I could think up! :'(
Just go to an article, (or look the person who 你 want to message up) and click their name near the top. 潮流粉丝俱乐部 will 显示 你 their 个人资料 page and scroll down until 你 find the "Message" tab. Click it and ...voila!
Just type your message and send it. If they message 你 back, your 收件箱 will tell you! Try it!
Sorry if this was lame! :(
But please remember to

由 the way this is my first soapbox
Ok, I usually don't make user guides but this one needs to be made. I have seen a lot of picks and a lot of them are boring 或者 annoying. Here is a 列表 of steps to help 你 out.
1. Try to have 更多 than three 答案 if possible. If the 问题 is "Who should Jim be with?" Put, Karen and Pam, and then put an answer like neither 或者 Katy.
2.Always have pictures for the 问题 if it isn't a yes, no, 或者 maybe question. Pictures bring in 更多 粉丝 and make the picks 更多 interesting.
3. Try to ask 问题 that people haven't already asked and 问题 that people will be interested in. Don't make it boring.
Now these are the three golden steps to making a good, quality pick on fanpop. If 你 feel I need to add anything, then please leave it in the comments.

I'm guessing a lot of people have all ready have found this problem but if 你 don't understand then it's like this:
One 日 I decided to create a new club of something that didn't exist as a club yet but I couldn't find the 'Create a club' button. Trust me I looked high and low for the thing but couldn't find it. When I logged out of my account at last there I saw it, the 'Create a club button' so when I clicked on it they of course asked me to sign back in but when I did I was the same position I was in before clicking.
For some people this problem don't seem to happen but for people like me who want to create 俱乐部 but can't because the button is unavailable well it's frustrating. I've been looking abound for some kind of answer but the only thing that came up was a link link
this only leads to 你 having to sign in again. I don't know if it's the signing in thing that's the problem but it really shouldn't be.
Please fix this problem Fanpop!

Yesterday, I was fanpoping. I come across the link spot- And went to videos. link is what I saw. There were 苹果 pie 视频 there. 提交 由 Hulu.
link are some 图片 由 other fanpopers reporting this.
Hulu's 视频 should NOT be done 由 a webcrawler. (or whatever 你 call it) Dave, either have a manual team do hulu's videos, 或者 dont do it at all.
EDIT: as amazondebs says in the comments, 潮流粉丝俱乐部 isen't even getting paid for hulu's videos. What is the purpose of having them here?
(Another) EDIT: 更多 of this maddness. and in link spot!
