Removing your own account is a pretty new feature, many people may not be aware of it yet.
If 你 go to Edit Profile and scroll all the way down, you'll find:
If you'd like to remove your account, click here.
Now what does this mean?
If 你 删除 your account, 你 must know that:
Your contributions will not be deleted.
All your images, links, comments, 论坛 posts, 墙 posts, 回复 remain on fanpop, 下一个 to your username.
If 你 click on that 用户名 however, 你 will be redirected to the 潮流粉丝俱乐部 main page.
The spots 你 created are not affected. If 你 create a spot, 你 always create it for everyone, it's not like you're the 皇后乐队 of this spot.
You are the 皇后乐队 of the spot when 你 have a red medal on 说 spot (just kiddin ;])
For future spot icon/banner changes on your spot the F4 can be messaged.
What I 说 also makes very clear, that
(a) 你 can not make a new account with the name of a deleted account since the name actually remains on fanpop- just the 个人资料 of it is gone.
(b)there's probably a chance to get your deleted account back if 你 made a mistake.
I think the powerful F4 could do it for 你 ;)
Just like they unban users from time to time.
