There actually is a chance for Gruvia to become an official couple.In the"Alvarez Empire"arc(which is the most recent story arc that still hasn't been finished)Gray told Juvia that he is glad that she is always by his side and that he will give her an answer to her feelings after the war with Alvarez is over.
