8 hours 日 trip from Muscat to Ayn al Thawara, it is the perfect picnic spot. Along with its fort, Nakhal is also famous for its hot springs. These are found a short drive through the 日期 palm groves leading out of the village from below the fort. At quiet times of the year, Ayn al Thawara is a pleasant place for a picnic either on the banks of the wadi in the shade of the palm trees 或者 at one of the covered picnic tables.
