I ran faster than I had ever done before to the study. Carlisle cleared off the 台, 办公桌 and I layed Liz down. I tore a clean cut in the 领, 衣领 of her 衬衫 and pulled off her shoes, throwing them to the ground. Gently lifting her wrist to my mouth knowing and dreading what I had to do.

I ran up the stairs to the bathroom, pulling the door of it's hinges. I went to Liz checking her pulse and respiration. Neither was strong and normal. I was walking down the aisle looking around, admiring the beautiful floral decorations. I looked at all the faces of my new family and others that I had just met. I twisted around to face my persuer. Of course his beauty and pale skin was a dead give away that he was a vampire, but his eyes totally creeped me out. Instead of gold, they were crimson.

His finger cut me off. I stared at him, his eyes mostly, but a seperate part of my mind noticed that he was wearing a really dark gray robe, not quite black. He had long dark hair and I felt he was looking through my mind. His skin was almost translucent, and his eyes were clouded.
