Just an average girl, she always wore a smile
She was cheerful and happy for a short while
Now she's older and things are getting colder
Life's not what she thought she wished someone had told her

So from then on she kept it on the inside
She told herself she was alright, but she was telling white lies

Courtney's POV: I was getting ready to go to the pool. I had a black bikini outlined with a blue strip. I wrapped a towel around myself and headed for the pool.

At the pool.

I didn't see my 老友记 yet,but I didn't care. I wanted to sit in the sun and get a tan. I threw the towel over the chair, sat down and closed my eyes.

"C'mon!" Duncan whispered quickly as he pulled me into an alley.

"Where are we?" i panicked.

"Near my apartment" he replied.

"Wow" i gasped as i cast a few glances to the scenery rushing around us as we ran through the bottom floor of his five storey apartment.

"What the heck is he doing in here?!" i turned around and whispered harshly to my new best friend, Bridgette.

Why does Heather have to ruin everything good that happens to me? i thought as i made my way through the Languages corridor.

"Thank 你 for finally joining us, Monsieur Renez" Madame Bradley scowled at me.

"Coolio" i smirked as i made my way to the back of the classroom.

"Stupid little slag" i turned to face my sister, Danni.

"Who?" i asked.

I looked over to Bridgette and noticed who they were talking about.

"You mean Courtney?" i asked, confused....

I woke up in a dark, gloomy room with eerie green lights. I saw the figure of another person across from me.

'so 你 finally woke up?' the voice of a girl asked. she sounded annoyed. 'I'm Gwen 由 the way.'

'Courtney.' I replied. 'where are we?'

'some hideout for some gang that I've never heard of. they're all punk 或者 情绪硬核 或者 goth. but like, worse than me.' Gwen told me. I looked at her 更多 carefully. she had black hair with blue streaks through it and she wore black boots, a black 短裙, 裙子 and a blue, green and black shirt. she was pretty.
