Duncan's POV:I sighed and once again asked my friend Geoff,"Why are we going to the circus again?" "Because it's fun and 你 are going to like it wheather 你 do 或者 don't."Geoff said.I don't like going anywhere since my last latest breakup with Gwen.Geoff knows that I didn't want to come but he brought me anyway.The 显示 has just begun as the lights dimmed.Soon,a pack of elephants came through a red curtain.A teenage girl about Geoff and my age was standing on 最佳, 返回页首 of an elephant.She was wearing what was left of a shirt,shorts 或者 somesort of a tribal skirt,no shoes,and a tribal decorated headpiece.She was beautiful with that smile."Do 你 see her?"I asked Geoff.Geoff was too busy looking at this other chick.Geoff looked like a love-struck idiot."Are 你 there?"I asked waving my hand in front of his face.Geoff just took my hand and put it down as he smiled still looking at whoever he was looking at.I turned my head back to the girl I was staring at.I didn't see her.Then,as soon as I turned my head back around,there she was.She was literally right on front of me.She leaned in to 吻乐队（Kiss） me and I did the same but she turned her head and went back to the elephants.Geoff saw too.Only he was interested in the girl he was staring at who was also tight in front of him.After the show,Geoff and I were love-struck.Even though we didn't officially get to meet those girls,we still got a chance to see them.
Geoff thought that if we stuck around,we would find out who they were and get their number.I would do anything to get Gwen off my mind and this was probably the only chance I'd get.(She would probably text me and call me until her phone dies.)So here goes nothing.Geoff and I went up to the two girls from the 显示 and introudced ourselves."I'm Duncan and this is my buddy Geoff."I said.They looked like they didn't understand a word I just said."Do 你 speak English?"I asked.They looked like they still didn't understand.Geoff tried translating in different languages."Hablas Ingles?(Spanish) Spreek je Engels?(Dutch)"Geoff said.
Nothing seemed to work.Suddenly,I thought if they didn't understand words,they've got to understand numbers.I wrote down my number and Geoff did the same.I gave the pieces of paper to the girls as they looked at it.They looked at each other and smiled.The bruenette tried to sound out my name.It was kinda funny.The blonde tried to sound out Geoff's name and it weas the funniest thing I've ever heard.But Geoff seemed to be in 爱情 with it.I reached my hand out and smiled as Geoff did the same."Duncan."I said."Geoff."Geoff said.Both girls shook our hands and smiled."Courtney."the bruenette said.What a beautiful name."Bridgette."the blonde said.Geoff smiled like the cat from Alice in Wonderland.(My brothers made me watch it)Geoff and I 说 goodbye to the girls and used the "call me" sign for them to call us.Geoff and I just don't hand out our numbers to any girls.Later when Geoff and I got to our apartment,all we could think about were those girls.Geoff couldn't stop smiling. "Man,the way she 说 my name...I've never heard anything 更多 lovely."Geoff said."Yeah,same here."I said.
Courtney's and Bridgette's POV:"Man,those guys were dumb.And I still can't believe WE were the ones playing dumb."Courtney 说 giggling."Yeah,butI feel kinda bad playing dumb with them.I mean,they were cute."Bridgette said."Yeah,I know.But hey,we got their numbers."Courtney 说 waving Duncan's number in the air along with Geoff's."Oh yeah!!YAY!!"Bridgette 说 taking Geoff's piece of paper and looking at it with love-struck eyes.Courtney rolled her eyes as she drove to their apartment.
