Courtney's P.O.V
I woke up cuddleing super close to Duncan and him cuddleing right back. It was really dark out and raining. i looked at Duncan's alarm clock but it didn't work. The power had gone out. My phone is dead and i cant charge it so i have no idea what time it is. It drives me nuts not knowing what time it is. I dont know why it just does. I shifted around a lil bit because of my back and found as comfty spot nuzzeled into Duncans chest. He is so warm. Not super warm, but not cold, Just warm. I can feel his 心 beat. His 心 is racing. He's having a dream. It slowed down. Peacful dreaming now. A 树 branch scratched hard against the window and i saw i face in the window. I jumped a lil and snuggled closer to Duncan hiding.
"huh? Whats wrong" He asked clearly tired.
"There's a face in the window!" i whispered scared.
"Huh?" Duncan turned to face the window, sure enough the face was still there.
"Ohh, thats just scar, Come in scar"
Scar came in the window dripping wet in black shorts, shoes, t-shirt, and hodie. all black. He also had long black hair and the same peircings as Duncan. But he had a huge scar going down his right cheek.
"Hey Duncan" Scar 说 not even noticing me. Probably because it's so dark and im so close to Duncan hiding under the comfeter.
"Hey." Duncan said.
"Can i borrow some dry clothes?" Scar asked
"Sure, but go change in the bathroom." Duncan said
"Why? Were both guys and i know u wont look." Scar 说 clearly confused.
"This is why" 说 Duncan lifting up the comfeter to reveal me. Terrified and moving my head to snuggle into his chest.
"Ohhhhhhh, gotcha. Be right back." Scar 说 leaving the room. I was so scared i started to shiver.
"You okay?" Duncan asked sweetly.
"That was SCARY!" I 说 almost yelling.
Duncan just laughed slightly.
"What's so funny?" I asked him.
"Well with all the shit you've been through im just surprised you'r scared of scar." Duncan said.
"Im not scared of him, all that much, but he was looking right into the room!" i said.
Before Duncan could say anything Scar came back in a pair of Duncan's Pj's. I am still kinda scared of him so i just pulled the comfeter over my head and snuggeled into Duncan again.
Duncan was getting up.
"Where are 你 going?" I asked still scared.
"Bathroom and popcorn" Duncan 说 leaving the room. I locked my eyes on scar. I just laid there with the comfeter up to my nose staring at scar.
Scar was looking around the room when he looked at me.
"What?" Scar asked.
I didn't say anything. I was to terrified to speak. About 10 秒 went 由 with us just staring at each other.
"What!?!?" Scar asked now annoyed.
I managed to say a soft "Nothing."

"Why are 你 staring at me!" he asked 更多 annoyed then before.
It was then when i decided to look away and watch him out of the corner of my eye. He moved his hand slightly and my eyes quickly locked on him once more. I was so terrified and scared. Duncan came back in with 2 bowls of 爆米花 and handed 1 to Scar.
"Thx" Scar said
"Welcome" he 说 laying back down. I snuggled back into Duncans chest just laying there still terrified.
"Hey why was she staring at me?" Scar asked Duncan.
"Probably because she's scared to death of 你 and anything else that would stare into the window at night." Duncan 说 with a 'duh' tone.
I smiled at that.
We heard police sirens.
"AHH man i gtg. Cya." Scar 说 while climbing out the window. I was so happy he left. I put my guard down a little bit and eased up. I fell asleep. When woke up Duncan was gone. I sat up and looked around the room. The scary pictures on the 墙 no longer bothered me. But it bothered me that Duncan wasn't there. I just layed back down, facing the door. Melissa came in then.
"Oh there 你 are Courtney." She 说 "Go downstairs, dinners ready."
"Ok" I said.
I went downstairs to find Duncan, his father, and his brother making the 表 and setting things out.
"Hello Courtney." Duncans dad said. "Come 加入 us."
I helped them and when we were done getting the stuff out and setting the 表 Melissa came back down and sat down. We started eating it was silent.
Then Duncan's brother Drew 说 "Why is it so quiet?"
No one 说 anything and we finished eating.
Everything seemed perfect at that point and i thought nothing could go bad. Thats when we heard the knock at the door and relized that I was wrong.

Duncan draped the thick blue blanket over their shoulders, smirking at Courtney.' What are 你 staring at?' she smiled."You, of course. You're pretty even when you're freezing to death''.he laughed.''HahaHA!'' Courtney said, sarcastically.''You know 你 like it, Princess''.he smiled, as he kissed her warm lips.
