日 3- It was morning and the dog spirits took Bolt and Lightning back to their RVs, and did the same sleep casting. Everybody went to their usual hang out areas. "Hey. Can we go over there and talk?" Lightning asked Bolt pointing her muzzle toward a different 树 stump. "Uh, okay." Bolt replied. The two 狗 walked over there thinking that they were the same in many ways besides their breed. It was true. "So, 你 were a, movie 星, 星级 dog?" Lightning asked sitting down 下一个 to the pine stump. "Yeah, why?" Bolt asked sitting down in front of lightning. "Were 你 wondering, Lightning?" "Well, now I am." she answered with a strong tone in her voice. "Okay, what did 你 want to know?" Bolt asked. "Oh, anything." Lightning answered. "Like what?" Bolt asked. "Just say something girl!" "Okay, gosh." Lightning replied. "Um, let's see, what kind of stuff did 你 do?" "Basically I ran and chased bad guys and had fake superpowers." Bolt said. "And what did 你 do in your movies?" "Oh, well, I was a lone feral dog, and I fought 狗 that threatened my territory." Lightning said. "Interesting Lightning." Bolt said. Giggling, Lightning replied, "Yours is cool too." "Thanks." Bolt said. "What made 你 quit?" "An accident." Lightning sounded as if it was her fault. "Same here." Bolt said. Because he was over it, he sounded proud that he quit. Lightning wasn't over it because she had quit just recently. Finally, breakfast was ready and everybody was ready and where they ate and they enjoyed it. The humans drank fresh, frigid 橙子, 橙色 juice, ate pancakes, watermelon, and sausage. The 培根 was for the pets. They enjoyed it. So did the humans. Today, they were just going to hang around the camp. Penny brought out a chinese checkers set she brought, and the kids played bunches of games that they all brought. The hamsters were all over one of the stumps playing a game of tag. The 猫 had some fun mini contests, and chilled and preened in the oak trees. The campgrounds had both pine and oak trees growing. The 狗 raced and challenged each other 由 small, fun, crazy wrestling matches. "Who thinks they can take Duke on?" Duke 说 growling softly and playfully while getting into a pouncing position. After that, Buddy bolted straight at Duke ready to mess around. He tackled Duke and they wrestled and playfully bit each others ears. "Wow." Mittens 说 lifting a paw to groom."Those 狗 get pretty wild." "You bet Mittens." Cathy 说 leaping from the branch she was on to the one where Mittens was. The 狗 had settled down and were napping and laughing with each other. Mittens heard something strange. She ran into a scary looking part of the forest. "Oh, Where am I?" Mittens asked herself. Wise 猫 and 狗 emerged from the fog. Mittens was breathless! Then she fainted with shock. What time was it? Mittens woke up like what; four? No, five 分钟 later. She saw the 猫 and 狗 again and as fast as lightning dashed back to the camp, screaming and shouting like hell. "What's wrong!?" Duke shouted. "Oh crud." Mittens bolted at him like a rocket and tackled him, wide-eyed. She was gasping hard, her chest moving crazily. "A big warning Duke!" she 说 breathlessly. She couldn't take the tiredness and fell asleep. Mittens tumbled off of Duke's belly, and Duke got up. "Holy crap." Buddy said. "Is she okay?" "Well, she's tired." Duke said. "No doubt about that." "Cathy, Whisker," Duke ordered. "Move Mittens somehow into a comfortable spot." "Where?" Whisker said. Whisker is the calico cat that was Cathy's best friend. "Ummm, how about over there 由 her RV?" Cathy suggested. "There is one of Mittens' mats there." "Sure." 说 Whisker. The 猫 circled Mittens and struggled trying to pick her up. Finally, they had Buddy help, for he was a smart young dog about two 或者 three years old. He got Mittens and put her on the cats' backs. They carried her over to her RV and plopped Mittens onto the cushy maroon 床, 床上 where Mittens catnaps most of the time. Cathy and Whisker sighed and sat with Mittens. A 仓鼠 named Speedy trotted 由 with Rhino. "What happened now?" Rhino asked surprised. "She fainted and needs some rest." Cathy explained. "She bolted at Duke and 迷失 her breath. She's really tired." "Oh, I should be going now." 说 Rhino laughing. "What the heck is wrong with him?" Whisker 说 hissing to himself. "Whisker, calm down." 说 Cathy. "He's a hamster, and we're cats." Mittens started to stir. "Oh, what happened?" she asked sleepily. Nothing really girlfriend." Cathy 说 nudging Mittens with friendship. Bolt and Lightning were spotted walking from where they were. "Lightning, I'm sorry for bringing that up." Bolt 说 trying to keep up with her fast, 迅速, 斯威夫特 movements. Nearly sobbing she replied, "It's okay, Bolt. I'm going to go to my trailer and relax." She ran over and jumped through the pet door in the screen. "What's up with her?" Bolt declared running to the dogs. "Bolt, settle down." 说 a female cat wearing a silver 钟, 贝尔 on a 领, 衣领 the color of blue. "I live with her. Lightning quit not too long ago, and she hasn't gotten over her accident yet." Bolt turned toward the trailer and saw Lightning sobbing in the window. She was OK. Just a little upset. She came out and looked a little better. Bolt walked over to her and comforted her. "It's okay, Lightning." Bolt said. "I'm here."

four o'clock p.m.

晚餐 was ready and everybody was happy. Penny chatted with the other kids and played tag when they were done. The campfire was set and everybody had fun. Lightning needed 更多 comfort to keep her from crying so the 狗 closed in around her, and licked and nuzzled her with their friendship. Lightning felt better and sat a bit closer to the warm glowing fire. They all 说 good night and waved and 说 see 你 tomorrow.

nine o'clock p.m.

Mittens took off into the forest, without a clue where she was going. She had not hurt herself when she burst through the RV door, nor did she damage the door while bolting out so fast. "I don't know where I am!" Mittens 说 worried. Suddenly, she was closed in with fog. Mittens screamed really loud. Then, the first light gray cat she saw earlier came out. "No need to worry Mittens." she said. "How, how do 你 know my name?" Mittens asked stuttering. "I just know." she said. "I am watching 你 every 分钟 of the day, so I dragged 你 out of 床, 床上 for this, young one. "For what?" Mittens stuttered. "Legends." she said. "Legends, god cats, and 猫 that did great things. Which makes us here and alive." "Can I know your name?" Mittens asked, worried that the gray cat wouldn't answer (As if she had a secret name). "Moonlight." Moonlight said. "You see, Mittens, there are 猫 that have been these wonderful troopers, and they are your ancestors." Moonlight lifted a paw and pointed it at the sky. "Look, Mittens." Moonlight ordered. Mittens saw her trace a cat in the stars. "This is one of the god cats, dear. His name is Flying Hunter, the spirit that grants good luck on feral cat hunts. And that god cat over there, a few feet away, is Kani, the goddess that gives us courage, especially when we fight." "Wow. 你 know a lot about this." Mittens said. "Yes, I do, Mittens." Moonlight said. "This lesson on your ancestors will continue tomorrow." Mittens ran to the RV and curled up on the little 长椅, 沙发 where she slept. Time for some good rest.
