First of all are the villains. The 最近的 villains have been weak, and do not seem real so when the hero triumphs 你 do not feel the need to cheer along with them. If the villain is 更多 menacing she/he is like another villain from an older 迪士尼 movie. Take the villain from Enchanted; she is on a quest to get the 王座, 宝座 this is nothing new Ursula was trying to achieve the same goal. Her looks were like a 更多 beautiful version of Snow Whites evil step mother, she uses magic and she turns into a dragon something that has already been used!
Next is the lack of songs. Yes they have songs but none the characters themselves sing, these songs are mostly for background noise 或者 an odd out of place 音乐 number. There’s no songs that help the story along, giving 你 looks into the characters feelings that in words would be awkward, like the song God Help the Outcast’s what if that had been Esmeralda speaking instead of singing?
Another thing is the animation. (If the movie is animated) The new 迪士尼 动画片 has a very computerized look. This look does not compare to the look of old Disney, a 更多 homely and hand drawn look. The new look in a way does not take 你 into the story the way the old 动画片 did, leaving 你 watching but not as into the movie as 你 could be.
Yet another thing to add to this 列表 is the focus 迪士尼 has taken. The villains, as I mentioned above, have mellowed considerably, leaving something with the nametag of villain that 你 can not be frightened by. 迪士尼 seems to have mellowed to, wanting 更多 jokes in their story and no frightening villains that might scare away their audience, young children. What happened to the first villains? I think Snow White was the scariest 迪士尼 movie, why? Because of the villain that’s why! I do not remember having jokes in Aurora, what made it funny, if 你 can call it that was the 精灵 bickering with each other and the joking song of Skumps! 迪士尼 was once looking out at a large audience, trying to make the 电影院 enjoyable for kids and adults now it seems that focus has narrowed.
Finally I come to the plot of the movies. The old and classic 迪士尼 电影院 have plots taken from books, Beauty and the Beast, The Black Caldron, Aladdin, all taken from books. But lately 迪士尼 has been trying to find new ideas on their own and I do not think that they are doing a good job at it. This is just something I noticed and may not be totally true.
So I have come to my conclusion, most new 迪士尼 电影院 have a hollow shell of a villain, background noise that may be interesting, a clean computerized and perfect look that leaves 你 behind, and a storyline that is only mildly interesting.
