Chapter 10: Encounter

It was late at night Ariel traveled for miles she was getting so exhausted she didn't think she could go on anymore when she suddenly saw his ship she was so relieved but she had to rest. She 鸽子 back into the ocean looking at its floor she couldn't find anything that she could possibly rest her head on so she just settled on laying down on the sandy ground and oh how she dreamed of the captain and what he must be like someone who loved adventure and loved to explore new places but was also very kind, caring, and gentle he seemed so amazing.
The 下一个 morning both of them woke up before dawn while John headed to the waterfall to continue where he left off yesterday while Ariel circled around looking for some sort of water passage so she could 搜索 further inland when she came across one it was very twisty with two different paths but she didn't know which one to take and it wasn't salt water that didn't matter to her though she swam up it looking for John wondering where he could possibly be.

It had been several hours and John had come across a large body of water right 下一个 to the waterfall that lead into a small river after walking for so long he decided to take a break not only to rest but to drink some water so he wouldn't get dehydrated.He made his way down to the rocks that were like stepping stones he kneeled down and scooped up some water in his hands that felt cool agains't his skin as he looked into it he thought he saw her the mystery girl but he must of been fooling himself 或者 his mind was playing tricks on him but he couldn't shake the strange feeling like he was being watched as he scooped up some 更多 water and splashed it on his face.
And he was right someone was watching him it was Ariel she had traveled a long ways she couldn't believe she actually found him he was just as she remembered him but she couldn't resist the urge she had to get a closer look she quietly slipped back into the water and went on the rock where she had last seen him. He wasn't there she looked all over but he was no where to be found where could he possibly have a gone she didn't know it but John was hiding with his gun locked and loaded ready to 火, 消防 he give his fuss one last blow then jumped out from behind the waterfall. He was about to shoot but something inside him told him that he shouldn't she wasn't going to harm him not only that but he was absolutely memorized 由 her beauty her eyes were a beautiful ocean blue, her eyes a luscious pink, and her hair was a firey red in fact now that he thought about it she looked a lot like the mystery girl but there was something peculiar about her she had a tail like a 鲸, 鲸鱼 或者 海豚 then he remembered the legends he'd heard from when he was a young explorer of 《美人鱼》 that used their beautiful voices to lure men on ships to them so they could become their prey but he had never heard of one saving someone that is if she was the mystery girl.

Suddenly John realized that he had startled the poor girl he felt bad he didn't mean her any harm he put down his gun on the rock and and started walking towards her when he had just removed his 头盔 and was about to introduce himself when she suddenly 鸽子 into the water "Wait please" he cried out but Ariel kept swimming she had to get away she surfaced and just when she thought she was 安全 he heard his voice again "Wait please don't run off, here let me help 你 out of the water" Ariel didn't say anything "Do 你 not understand a word I'm saying?" she still didn't say anything "It's alright I promise I won't hurt you" he held out his hand to Ariel at first she hesitated but something told her that there was nothing to be afraid of she took his hand.
John went into the water and picked up and carried her up on 最佳, 返回页首 of the 草 but close enough to the water just in case she needed to dive in and herself wet so her tail wouldn't dry up he set her down on the 草 "There now please tell me who are you?" she thought about it for a moment "Ariel", "What, what did 你 say?", "My name is Ariel" she replied "I'm John Smith".
