This is my opinion about why 迪士尼 should revert back to the old movie ways that they use to produce.
I believe that 迪士尼 Channel Original Movie have deteriorated from what they use to be. When I was growing up the moves were full of soul, purpose and everyday life issues. Nowadays all the 电影院 are about 唱歌 and dancing about teens falling in love. Look at the movie Camp Rock. It was about a nobody girl falling in 爱情 with a real 流行的 boy and their was a lot of singing. Look at High School Musical. It was about a nerdy girl falling in 爱情 with a 流行的 athlete and they sang a lot. Look at the movie Starstruck. It was about nobody girl falling in 爱情 with a superstar and their was 更多 singing. Do 你 see any patterns, because I do. All the newer movie just seen to insult kids and teens intelligence.
Reflecting on the 电影院 I saw growing up I see a lot different plots. My all time 最喜爱的 movie, Tiger Cruise, was about a girl dealing with being on a navy vessel during 9/11 and helping all the kids and families get through it. I also loved Going to the Mat, a story about a blind boy that joins the wrestling team and learns that he can do anything if he puts his mind to it. Another movie was Tru Confessions. This movie was about a girl making a video about he mentally handicapped twin brother. This shows what family 爱情 is all about and the difficulty in life. Some other great 电影院 were Double Team, Cadet Kelly, Right on Track, Pixel Perfect, The Color of Friendship, and Right on Track. Try and watch these movie instead of the new ones because they are shallow and discuss unimportant topics.
Why do they not have deeper topics in their plots anymore. Do they think that kids will not understand them, that they are not intelligent enough to comprehend important subjects. I am very tired of the same story being repeated ever since High School Musical. 迪士尼 have such a big influence of kids and I wish they would use that to their advantage to teach kids important life lessons.
I will have to say that 柠檬汽水, 柠檬水 Mouth had a bit 更多 of a plot to it, it was not nearly as good as the older movies. At least it was not about a 流行的 boy falling in 爱情 with a nobody girl with a lot of singing. It was a group of 老友记 唱歌 a lot. It was a little better. I hope this is the first step to getting back on the right track. I do still 爱情 all the older 迪士尼 movies, even through I am older and I hope that any of 你 that have not watched them do so soon and enjoy then as much as I have.
