I'm not gonna debate facts like whether the Holocaust happened or whether white people are superior to other races. This gives undue credence to such views.

I used to debate with anti-vaxxers but I now realise that this might be more harmful than helpful if it entrenches their views. It's also just an exercise in frustration because they ALL misunderstand basic biology. And all-round the topic just makes me despair lmao.

I cannot really be bothered "debating" abortion and LGBT rights anymore. It’s a given for me at this point. I don’t wanna platform or engage views that deny trans people a right to exist. And why is our society still on the “culture war” BS when our economic system is falling down around our ears? People can make their own decisions when they don't affect you in any way, full stop, go away, not interested in discussing basic human rights.

For me it's more or less about topics I don't feel like I'm informed enough about. I'll have discussions about them but not debates. Because how does one debate about something they don't fully grasp lol.

I try to avoid religion at all costs. People tend to get touchy about that topic.

That's fair lol. I usually don't debate religion either because I feel like it's not my place to try to tell someone what to believe in.
