ok i don't know how "official" this is because i know that news loves to just pull out nonsense to pick on the dceu sometimes but i would be happy with idris elba joining the dceu because he's a good actor and mcu didn't really take advantage of heimdall. I am NOT happy with the news that its to maybe replace will smith as deadshot. i'm fine with waiting for his appearance somewhere else/ss3 instead because of the scheduling conflicts but i am not cool with them maybe just straight out replacing him. i love will smith as deadshot and would like him to keep being deadshot. i do however want idris elba to join the dceu so ~~~ yeah mixed feelings~~~ and i don't know how seriously to take this

I want Will Smith to stay, but I don't have anything against Idris Elba.

On one hand, I did not like Will Smithshot. IE's a good actor, and I'm sure he'd make a fine Deadshot.

On the other, I don't like recasting in the middle of an in-progress franchise. The DCEU cast was just about perfect. Then they lost Batfleck. And SuperCavill, I think? Was that official? I don't even know what the hell they're doing anymore.

supercavill isn't official its mostly the whole speculation game they keep playing is like official like they do with a lot of dceu. batfleck makes me sad but i'm ok since the online treated him horribly and if he feels like continuing wouldn't be good for him i'd rather he stay ...safer than those jerks constantly attacking treated him

i'm glad we are mostly secure in jason mamoa, gal gadot, margot robbie, and zachary levi as shazam though <3 them
but yeah, so confused but staying hype for other things
like the fact that they haven't forgotten that they promised us a black adam and cyborg movie >:D
