"First of all let get the obvious reasons out of the way, one a witch and a vampire together has never been as a couple on tv, two they're both hot (my god they sizzle when they're together). Now for the third reason the most important one the "love/hate" love story are great love stories. These are two people that in the beginning couldn't stand each other and now over the past seasons are slowly starting to tolorate each other. I love watching their relationship grow. Damon seem to make Bonnie more proactive and impulsive and Bonnie seems to make Damon think. They get into each other heads sometimes and that why there's so much friction between them. I think to watch the wall between these two slowly crumble would be one the most intriguing love stories on tv, my god its what we watch these shows for."

I am so excited about this TVD pairing I can’t even put it into words but I am going to try. “Bonnie and Damon have this really awesome connection” Ian Somerhalder says in a 2011 Comic Con interview. They save each others lives but can’t really seem to understand the why of it opting instead to do something better than be in the same room with one another. That is until they are forced to work together. You see she’s a witch and Damon never fails to point out that she’s “a judgy little thing” and Bonnie, well she likes to remind him that she can defend herself and that if he “makes one wrong move she’s going to take him out”. The thing I love most about these two is how they argue with such passion but put all that gets put on the backburner when they are trying to save the lives of those they love. If they really sat down to think about the times they’ve saved each others lives they’d find their names included on their list of loved ones. In closing, they are my ultimate power couple, both Alpha’s and both capable of ruling the world together should they get the opportunity.
