Well, there are a lot of fans who have become quite..uh, is there a polite word for crazy? I wouldn't say that was the point of the spot though. The main point is focused on analysing the series and the phenomenon surrounding it (including the more obsessive fans).

I've met a bunch of lovely Twilight fans too though, the poor things are just usually drowned out by the ones who give the rest of them a bad rep.

I'm fully aware of why this spot is here. I'm a Twilight fan myself, and won't get totally aggresive...

Correct, I do not like that controversy. I guess that the character, in the book, wasn't described as ugly, but in real life he's hideous on screen. Just my opinion. :)

there are idiotic fans of twilight, but were not all insane and obsessed with robert pattinson. i dont like robert pattinson or kristen stewart and i didnt like the movie

I believe there are idiotic fans of the saga, those who are saying that they love it just to be with the hype.. but perhaps there really are fanatics.. who loved the novels, just like any "good" novel is to be appreciated.. But I'm not a fan of Twilight anyway.. I'm planning on reading the book[s], still, I'm not sure if it's going to change my perception on the series.

There's heaps, I come across them all the time. I do know there are non-crazy Twilighters out there too though, one of my best friends is one.
