What are your theories on Eddy's sparkling?

I have in my many years of wisdom heard a fair few theories on why Eddykins sparkles, from Stephenie Meyer (which I think proves her lack of knowledge of science), from a few Twihards (which is usually "because he's a vampire! And he's gorgeous, and 'cause Bella loves him!!1!" (grammar corrected for your safety)) from some intelligent and thoughtful people (check out Rachaelwsz's theory) and some odd ones (which 更多 often than not scare me too much).

So, what are your theories of our dear Eddy's condition?

Hehehehe! I like that. It's so nerdy it makes 你 a little giddy somehow. Good theory though! Much 更多 than what SM has provided us with.
