Everyone behind Val, Maddy, and Wally let out a huge groan and cursed under their breath.
Kiki sat at her usual table. Thankfully, no one caused a ton of trouble last period. Why? Except for Abby, no one understood what her French teacher was saying. Jennifer (y'know, the one mentioned in the first chapter?) sat in her usual seat.
"Looks like you've had a rough day." she observed.
Kiki slammed her 果汁 onto the table.
"DON'T get me started." she snarled. Kacey and the others who were in one of the other lunch lines came over. Kacey had half of her cheese 比萨, 比萨饼 stuffed into her mouth.
"This stuff is GREAT!" she squealed.
"Hey, 你 should try some of this cheeseburger. It's like my tastebuds died and went to heaven!" Hoagie added. Kiki smiled.
"Glad 你 think so. If 你 want, 你 guys can get seconds."
Both cheered and ran back in line.
Jennifer's eyes grew huge. "Are THEY?..."
"Yes. Kacey and the others are Part of Sector V."
She pointed at the vending machine and then back into the lunch line.
"Megan and Maddy are in Sector Q."
"You're LUCKY!"
Kiki scoffed. "Lucky isn't the word I was thinking of."
Maddy, Wally, Val and Kuki came over. Each carrying at least 3 trays of food.
"Hungry much?"
They all nodded.
摩根 (Numbuh 432) squinted at Val's medallion.
"Yes. She is, in fact, Fangface's daughter." Kiki said.
She, Ali (Numbuh 444), and 茉莉, 茉莉花 (Numbuh 333) all backed up slowly.
Kacey came back carrying the whole tray of cheese pizza.
Wally reached for one of the pieces. She smacked his hand.
"MINE!!" she hissed.
He scowled and snatched a piece. Kacey tried to grab it out of his hand....but instead, it ended up flying through the air and onto the face of one of the juniors. This immediatley signaled one thing:
"FOOOOOOOOD FIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!" he shrieked at the 最佳, 返回页首 of his lungs.
Everyone tipped over tables, grabbed what 食物 was nearby and flung it as hard as they could at other people.
All of the younger kids cheered wildly and ran in seperate directions, nailing numerous people. Kiki, from under the table, did a facepalm. Just then, the principal walked in just as the fight was getting good. He whistled as loud as he could, and everyone stopped.
"WHO'S RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?!?!?!" he demanded.
Everyone pointed at Wally, who was covered in mashed potatoes and french fry guts.
"Busted!" Kacey whispered.

你 know how the stereotype for kids in Honors classes is that they're snooty and think they're better than everyone else? Mr. K's 8th period Global History class TOTALLY defied that. Everyone was nice, spunky, and...how to put it...kind of "off". Everyone was coloring in their maps when the phone rang. Mr. K then said, "OK, guys, I've got to run downstairs for...oh...5 minutes?"
Kiki began to plead: "Please don't! 你 don't wanna know what happened the LAST time someone left the room for 5 minutes!"
Wally, Kacey, and Val looked the other way, kind of embarassed.
"It's only for a few minutes." he shut the door and left.
The 秒 he left, trouble started. The class, as usual, went wild. Kyle, one of the jerkiest kids in class, went around intentionally making other kids screw up on their maps. Maddy looked over at Val, who was surprisingly calm and quiet.
"Aren't 你 gonna....y'know? 'SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!'?" she asked.
"Right now, if he's not giving me any trouble, I'm gonna let him do whatever he wants." she answered while she reached for a 粉, 粉色 crayon. Her hand only felt air. The box was being held at least two feet above her reach 由 none other than Kyle.
"Give it back!" she whined.
He laughed and began talking in a baby voice.
"Awwww, does the widdle baby need these fow hew awt pwoject?"
Val continued jumping trying to reach for her crayons. Kyle kept pulling them back at the last second. Her face was red as a cherry. Resisting the urge to grab her emergency dad button, she did the 下一个 best thing: kick the back of his leg. HARD. Kyle fell to the floor, whimpering like a baby....THEN she pressed the dad button. While the rest of the class acted like animals, purple smoke filled the room. Kacey and the others 鸽子 behind Mr. Ks 台, 办公桌 since they didn't want to see what happened next.
When Mr. K came back, the majority of the class was either crying and rubbing their backsides 或者 really REALLY mad and rubbing their backsides.
Everyone glared at Val, who just smiled angellically.

9th period. Only 40-ish 更多 分钟 til school was let out. Mrs. F., in a rare moment of easy-goingness, decided to let the class pick where they wanted to sit and silent read. Kiki took her usual spot under the computer tables, 阅读 "Edgar and Ellen: Pet's Revenge". Val snuggled up to her and wanted her to read "Rainbow Monkey and the Perfectest Picnic Ever".
"It's called SILENT reading. Read it yourself."
Val pouted and sat in a corner.
At 2:00 the 钟, 贝尔 rang and Kacey and the others bolted out of the building.
"What's up, Kiki?" Wally asked.
She spun around and pointed a finger at him.
"YOU'RE what's up! 你 guys have caused nothing but trouble since 你 got here!!"
"Well, what do 你 expect?" Megan asked. "You've got a bunch of elementary school kids, and a few middle school ones, pushing the limits of high school rules."
She let out a big sigh.
"True. All right, today I'll let that slide. But 你 guys BETTER NOT screw up for the rest of the week. Got it?"
Everyone smiled and nodded. Wally crossed his fingers behind his back. He'd make this one of the best rest-of-the weeks ever for them, but one of the worst for Kiki and the rest of the kids at the high school.
