The vicar had been speaking for what felt like a full hour. Tommy was half asleep, along with Abigail’s 7-year-old niece, AJ (Short for Abigail Junior. She also has a sister called CJ-Short for Cree Junior) the service was almost over. Hoagie and Abby both 说 their wedding vows. Hoagie went first. He said:
“Abigail, ever since I first laid my eyes on you, when I was placed in your sector when we were in the Kids 下一个 Door, I immediately knew that 你 would be the one for me. I will admit that I was trying to keep it a secret from you, but now I can honestly say I 爱情 YOU!”
It was then Abby’s turn. She shed a slight tear as she began to say her wedding vows.
“Hoagie, I may not have 说 it when we were in the Kids 下一个 Door, but now I am confident enough to say that 你 are the one who completes me and makes my life complete and I 爱情 you!”
Once they had shared their vows, they then exchanged wedding rings.
“Now Hoagie, repeat after me,” the vicar began. “Abigail, take this ring as a symbol of our marriage.”
“Abigail, take this ring as a symbol of our marriage!” Hoagie repeated, as he placed a diamond encrusted ring on Abby’s left ring finger. It was now Abby’s turn.
“Hoagie, take this wedding band as a symbol of our marriage.” Abby placed a wide, silver band around his left ring finger. Then, the time had come…
“Hoagie P. Gilligan Jr. Do 你 take Miss Abigail Mary 林肯 to be your lawful wedded wife, to 爱情 and to cherish in sickness and in health, for rich 或者 for poor?” the vicar asked.
“I DO!” Hoagie replied.
The vicar continued. “And do you, Miss Abigail Mary Lincoln, take Hoagie P. Gilligan to be your lawful wedded husband, to 爱情 and to cherish in sickness and in health, for rich 或者 for poor?”
“I DO!” Abby replied. “In that case, in the name of the lord I now pronounce you, husband and wife! 你 may now 吻乐队（Kiss） the bride.” The guests were clapping and cheering as Hoagie picked Abby up and kissed her. Just before they left the building, Abby threw the bouquet up high in the air, waiting for someone to catch it. Luckily enough, it was Abby and Hoagie’s old friend, Rachel T. McKenzie, who was the Soopreme Leader back when they in the Kids 下一个 Door!
