He has a very strong moral compass, I love that he started antagonizing Frollo not because of Esmeralda's beauty but because of Frollo's cruelty towards innocent people he isn't connected too at all. I hate Tulio because I hate characters who can be both cowardly and mean( malicious, arrogant). I can like character who are not soft-spoken if they brutally honest fearless truth-lover type who remain impolite when with dangerous and more powerful people( Tzipporah is the best example). I can like characters who non-confrontational and somewhat lack bravery if this attitude come not from self-presentation but from excessive softness and if they humble and don't take pride in their lack of bravery and look up to braver people instead of having "I am smart, cool and successful pragmatist, unlike those dumb guys who think of others" way of thinking.
