At least, I'd hope that they would because there's SO MUCH potential. I'd love to see how they'd bring In the Dark of the Night to life. They could have ghosts and zombies or something to be his backup signers instead of bugs and really make it awesome. Plus, I prefer magic over being more "historically realistic." If I was concerned about that, I'd watch a serious documentary or movie about the real events and not a musical. I was disappointed that they didn't include him in the Broadway show, though I was able to forgive that when they cast Ramin Karimloo (One of the BEST singing voices of ALL TIME) as the new villain, so if they did a live-action movie for it I would like it if they included Rasputin. They can make him more dignified and not as silly but still charming.
At least not as a villain, a different name should be used because the real historical figure doesn't deserve to be the villain in every movie they make.
