Fight For This Love, which was released last Sunday, sold over 292,000 copies and is the fastest selling single – excluding charity and reality TV winner’s singles – since 2001. Cheryl knocked Alexandra Burke’s ‘Bad Boys’ from the number one spot.
OCC managing director Martin Talbot 说 earlier in the week that Cole’s “amazing” first-day sales put her in “pole position to 最佳, 返回页首 the official singles chart on Sunday”.
“She is likely to set the sales standard 由 which everyone will be judged for the rest of the 年 in the run-up to Christmas,” he added.
