The 秒 season of 圣女魔咒 is again characterized 由 the series' writers mantra: "Charmed is a 显示 about three sisters who just happen to be powerful witches, not three witches who happen to be sisters". This formula enabled the Executive Producers stable of writers to gradually build on the sisters magic, while spending the shows main entertainment 分钟 dealing with the human dilemma's "complications" and the vicissitudes of busy lives lays on anyone.

Like the first season, the sisters found there were a lot of evil creatures operating in the world which became obvious to one attuned to magic. And again, like the first season, many magic wielding threats were in fact hunting the sisters for their powers, so the episodes were focused on how such things impacted sisters striving to live normal lives as far as such was possible, rather than the darker latent organized and overt threats lurking off just out of sight that became thematic in the last six seasons.

Sexual tensions added their particular soap opera-like bits of spice to the series as a new 爱情 interest, 下一个 door neighbor Greg Vaughan as Dan Gordon moved in 下一个 door and caught Piper's eye just as she was getting frustrated with restrictions affecting her relationship with whitelighter Brian Krause as Leo Wyatt.
