I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Redecorating Cecily Strong's Apartment
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

Cecily’s NYC rental was so NOT her personality, that it felt more like being in witness protection than being at home.
So Cecily turned to her local west elm’s free Home Stylist, Johanna at our Chelsea store, to transform the studio into a dream space.
Working together, they redesigned the apartment to let Cecily’s true personality and style shine through – dog statues and photo collections, included.
“Before it felt like a hospital waiting room to me… Now it just feels like way cooler than I am!” –
“Bringing in a solid sofa really helps pillows stand out.” –
“I don’t know, how many crazy things am I allowed to have?” –
“I’m a big braggart about this place now.” –
7 Real Home Interiors We Loved Last Week
I love those wine racks. Any idea where they’re from?
Love the Seville posters. My husband and I went there last Spring and brought back a few ourselves!
looks great! love her and her new living room! xo jillian – cornflake dreams
Where do I find that ledge that holds all the artwork above the sofa??!
Hi Sara – That’s west elm’s Metal Picture Ledge!
I particularly like the corner cabinet that is used as a drinks cabinet, beautiful. I also love the choice of colour on the sofa, the lamps and that stunning table top! Some lovely and some very funky ideas here, that I hope will inspire me to tackle a similar problem in my own home!
I like the layered framed prints. Is the ledge they’re on from West Elm or one of its sister stores?
Love the “C” against the blue wall. What is the name and brand of the blue paint?
Where can I find the ledge holding the prints over the sofa? What a great way to make a collection of smaller prints look bigger and more important!
Hi Deb — that’s west elm’s Metal Picture Ledge! There are 2 of them in Cecily’s apartment: http://www.westelm.com/products/metal-picture-ledge-w516/
I really love the dining table , and gold chairs! Where was this purchased?
Hi Cindy — both are from west elm! It’s our Lubna Chowdhary Tiled Dining Table + Curved Leather Chairs. http://www.westelm.com/products/lubna-chowdhary-tiled-dining-table-h295/
How about a source for that dining table? It is beautiful!
Hi — That is west elm’s Lubna Chowdhary Tiled Dining Table: http://www.westelm.com/shop/collaborations/lubna-chowdhary/
The whole video is adorable and the apartment is really cool! I am really impressed that the stylist pulled it all together to work with the existing paint colors and Cecily’s ‘crazy’ stuff. Love this!
I love the piece that’s being use as a bar. Do tell where i might get it?
Hi Nadine, that’s west elm’s Tiled Buffet! You can find it in the “Shop The Look” section in the top-right of this post, or by clicking here.
where did the rabbit pillow come from? thanks!
I love this transformation. It speaks volumes about small spaces needing bigger bolder pieces. Love your taste in artwork-COLOR- simplicity. Great job; your personality shines.
I want this room. Seriously. Wow. Thanks for sharing!
The art work behind the sofa is hung too high. It should be about 6″-8″ above sofa. It would tie into room vignette way more.
Cecily rocks on SNL. After pics looks more like you imagine her personality to be.
What’s the teal blue paint color name?
The apartment looks as though Cecily has collected cool personal goodies through the years. Nice……
Absolute beautiful room. It’s inspiring me to start making my house more of a home not just a place we live!
Love the transformation of Cecily’s NY apt. It looks so much bigger with the solid colored sofa and strong wooden tables and chairs. I love the piece the television is on! Also, I think Cecily is the centerpiece of her apt (and SNL.) I’m a fan.
Love this! she’s awesome and so is that couch

[…] apartment to be just as lively and colorful as her personality is. Thanks to a home makeover from West Elm, she’s now the proud owner of a can’t-miss-it marquee “C” and a chic moose […]
I love the patterned rug in front of the sofa; is it from West Elm? Thank you.
Is the larger neutral rug from West Elm; it looks similar to West Elm’s sweater rug in oatmeal. I am totally furnishing my new townhouse with West Elm, so I know your products very well at this point! Thank you.
The larger neutral rug is our Jute Chenille Herringbone Rug in Ivory, and the smaller pattern rug is our Sketch Wool Rug in Paprika. That color is sold out right now but you can see all your options here.
Fun and free space. I’m glad to hear of the free service and will utilize soon!
Not cool that you will not answer the question – “where is the big C from?”
Okay everyone, just spoke to Johanna and “the big C mystery” is now officially over!
Here’s what she has to say: “The source is VintageMarqueeLights.com. I have used them time and time again and they never disappoint.”
Are the prints above the sofa mounted on a ledge? Where can I find one?
Hi Carolyn – That’s west elm’s Metal Picture Ledge!
To modern looking for me.I like country French.
This is AWESOME, is there any way (contest or other) that one can –ahem–sign up to be a Before? Thanks!
What an eyesore. The entire apartment is giving me anxiety.
What a beautiful change…. and it appears so personal. Just wish you were closer in Alabama; we need help too!
I feel the art above the sofa needs to be lowered 6 inches.
Also, if the frames are separate perhaps an inch or so between would look better.
I really need a super comfortable, I’m-gonna-fall-asleep-right-now couch. Which couch is featured?
What about the dining table? Where is it from?
I love those pictures of Sevilla, where did you get those?
Which size Paidge is the couch? Is it the 72.5″ or the 86.5″? Thank you!
