DOES ANYONE FOSTER CATS?????

Yes. When I lived in the Florida Keys I used to foster cats. The Keys, being an island chain, have a HUGE population of feral 猫 and it has swamped local shelters (they had to convert the dog area into 更多 cat cages just to make room) they depend on local volunteers to foster 'adoptable' feral 猫 until a 首页 is found.

The cat in the picture is named Lucky. He was my favorite. He was the sweetest most lovable animal 你 would have ever come across. However not all of them are as sweet (being previously wild and all) I got bit horribly 由 one I fostered while pouring his water, he came out of nowhere and sunk his teeth into my wrist and shook his head opening the wound. Had to go to the hospital for that one. So before 你 jump into foster consider the risks. 你 may not always get a 'Lucky' some of them have severe emotional trauma.

Me and my sister have done it many times along with taming feral 小猫 for adoption.

No, we don't have the 太空 for to many 猫 或者 the money to take care of them. But, I really respect ones that do and I wish I could. Maybe one 日 I will be able to.

Yes! There are many formal cat fostering services around the world. There are also many Unsung 超能英雄 and Heroines of Cat Fostering - individuals and families who take in unwanted 猫 and give them a home.

My family is one of those families. We have 28 adopted 猫 - most 'just appeared' in our garden. One we adopted from a drain outside a bakery shop. Her mother had been killed 由 local thugs and as a memorial to her, we brought her kitten to live with our other cats. And a medal to the bakery 商店 (Brumbies - an Australian firm) whose staff left bits of 培根 (etc) outside for this cat and her mother to live on.

We have a website and on it we have some newspaper (etc) 文章 about other people who foster cats. There's a lady who cares for the 'stray' 猫 who live in the Protestant cemetary in Rome. There's another lady who runs a sanctuary/shelter called 'Cat House on Kings (River)' who cares for 更多 than 800 otherwise unwanted/stray cats! I want too in the worst way, but out last cat died about two weeks 以前 and my mom does not even want to think about getting/fostering a cat. We couldn't foster when he was around because he HATED other animals. He was 22, so we didn't even want to try it yet.
