Dean hurried to the seemingly unconscious Cas and turned him over.
“Cas, hey, wake up” he softly said, with a desperate undertone. He wasn’t dead. He couldn’t be. To Dean’s relief Cas opened his eyes with effort.
“Dean?” he whispered hoarse. “Is it over?” he asked, looking at the other two. Dean nodded, grabbed Cas’ hand and pulled him up. He embraced Cas as if he was never letting go. Then he felt a sharp pain in his side. He looked shocked at Cas who cast him a big smile.
“Gotcha” he 说 and he threw Dean against the wall.
“Dean!” Sam exclaimed and ran towards his brother, but Meg only had eyes for Cas, who had jacked the demon knife.
“It’s not over” she 说 defeated.
Lucifer walked towards the mirror and examined his face. “Don’t 你 think Cas’ pretty face is in disharmony with the rest of his body?” He turned to Meg. “I think it is. I think some facial decorations are in order”
He placed the 刀 right under Cas’ left eye and drew a thin red line. Meg growled and ran towards him, but with a 摇摆, 秋千 of his hand Lucifer threw her in the air and she landed 下一个 to Dean. Lucifer kept carving in Cas’ as if he was a rock that had to be worked.
Despite the burning pain in his side, Dean stood.
“Hey!” he yelled and Lucifer rotated his head to him. “You want to torture someone so badly? Take me”
“What?” Lucifer laughed.
“You heard me. Take me” Dean repeated provocative.
“You’re willing to sacrifice yourself to eternal agony? Wow, now that’s what I call love” Lucifer smirked and he turned to Meg. “You can learn a thing 或者 two from this one, Meg”
“That’s not love. That’s guilt” Meg scoffed. “Dean has a lot to feel guilty for when it comes to Cas. Don’t you, Dean?”
Dean wanted to defend him, but Lucifer stopped him.
“You know what? It doesn’t matter. I’m having way too much fun being a pain in the 屁股 for my little brother. And 你 know something about being a pain in the ass, don’t you, Dean?” he tormented the older Winchester. “You know what? I’ll be nice. I’ll leave 你 lot alone for an hour. Then I’ll come back to play again. I believe Cas won’t make it much longer, so make it count”

“You’re not going anywhere” she said.
“Right, because you’re going to stop me” Dean 说 sarcastic. He pushed Zoey away and walked further to the entrance.
Zoey jumped his back. She tugged his hair and scratched his face.
Dean lay Cas down as careful as possible. He grabbed Zoey’s hair and pulled her off. He smacked her on the ground and kicked her wherever he could.
“I think you’re losing your 天使 juju” Dean said.
Zoey crawled towards Cas. She grabbed his 领, 衣领 and dragged him away, closer to the edge of the holy circle.
“What are 你 doing?” Dean asked scared.
He got his answer as Zoey emptied a few bottled of alcohol she had kept their in stock. She conjured a lighter and smiled evil at Dean.
“No!” Dean shouted, but Zoey dropped the lighter and caused another fire.
“You’re not going anywhere” she said.
“Right, because you’re going to stop me” Dean 说 sarcastic. He pushed Zoey away and walked further to the entrance.

Cas beached on the street, far away from Rufus’ cabin. He wasn’t sure how to feel. He was angry, because Dean wouldn’t listen to him. Dean always thought he knew everything better. He was disappointed, because Dean had no faith in him at all.
He was so up in thought that he didn’t hear his name. But maybe that was because she didn’t use his real name.
“Emmanuel!”
Someone grabbed his arm and forced him to turn around. He looked at the woman. She looked familiar.
“Didn’t 你 hear me?” the woman asked. Cas stared at her. “Don’t 你 recognize me? It’s me, Daphne, your wife?”
Cas widened his eyes as he remembered her.
“Daphne” he 说 breathless. “How did 你 find me? What are 你 doing here?”
“Well, I hired a detective, I needed to find you” Daphne said. She searched in her pockets and conjured a big brown envelope. “I need 你 to sign these”
“What is it?” Cas frowned.
“A petition for annulment” Daphne answered.
He was so up in thought that he didn’t hear his name. But maybe that was because she didn’t use his real name.
“Emmanuel!”
Someone grabbed his arm and forced him to turn around. He looked at the woman. She looked familiar.
“Didn’t 你 hear me?” the woman asked. Cas stared at her. “Don’t 你 recognize me? It’s me, Daphne, your wife?”
Cas widened his eyes as he remembered her.
“Daphne” he 说 breathless. “How did 你 find me? What are 你 doing here?”
“Well, I hired a detective, I needed to find you” Daphne said. She searched in her pockets and conjured a big brown envelope. “I need 你 to sign these”
“What is it?” Cas frowned.

Meg opened the door of a motel room and helped Cas inside. She guided him to the single 床, 床上 and put him down. She gently pushed him down and he opened his eyes a little. She walked to the bathroom and dampened a towel.
She walked back into the room and sank down on the bed. Unlike Meg’s Cas’ clothes hadn’t been restored. Meg opened the ruined and bloodstained hospital 衬衫 and dabbed his wounds with the towel.
Cas groaned from pain.
“You don’t have to do this” he 说 weak. “I will heal eventually”
“I know” Meg 说 absent-minded. She stared at Cas’ body. Even with all the cuts he still looked…jumpable.
“But thanks for the gesture” Cas 说 with a weak smile.
Meg continued nursing his injuries. “You know” she said. “If I was still human, I’d fall for you”
Cas gave her another weak smile, before he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
She walked back into the room and sank down on the bed. Unlike Meg’s Cas’ clothes hadn’t been restored. Meg opened the ruined and bloodstained hospital 衬衫 and dabbed his wounds with the towel.

“It was me” Meg said. Sam had freed her from her prison and now she was going to free Cas of his. She had to promise Sam she wouldn’t try to get out until they were far gone. Because as soon as soon as Cas was out they were going to hit the road an drive as far away as possible.
“I killed Jack and I killed Paul Morgan. Cas has nothing to do with it. I was trying to protect him. Jack was asking too many 问题 and Paul knew too much already. There were people trying to hurt Cas and I tried to give him a low profile. But it didn’t really work out. I don’t want a lawyer. I don’t want a trial. Just give me the maximum penalty and I’ll accept it”
Isabel stared at her, a little puzzled, but also thrilled. She got Jack and Paul’s killer. Now no one would 问题 her competence as an inspector again. She cuffed Meg’s hand and brought her to a cell.
