It also boasts a 2,000-square-foot master suite, home movie theater, massage room, a marble entry-way, an elevator, as well as high-end finishes and appliances

In one area of the Hollywood Hills mansion, there\'s a wine rack that holds more than a hundred bottles of wine

A movie theater room in the home features a massive wide-screen TV and several couches decorated with plush pillows

It also boasts a 2,000-square-foot master suite, home movie theater, massage room, a marble entry-way, an elevator, as well as high-end finishes and appliances.

It\'s hard to believe that this was not once, but twice, the scene of tragedies that made news around the world. 

Britney Spears lived at the then five-bedroom, five-bath, 8,000-square-foot home around the time she dated Justin Timberlake.

Spears sold it to Clueless and 8 Mile actress Brittany Murphy in June 2003 for $3,850,000.

Murphy quickly moved in to the home with her mother Sharon Murphy.

Britney\'s home: At the time, the home featured smaller windows, but still featured a sleek wood flooring throughout the rooms

Spears decorated the home modestly, with an exercise machine sitting at the end of the bad in one bedroom 

In a room that overlooked the Los Angeles cityscape, Spears decorated the home with several couches and chairs

Upon one fireplace, Spears placed plants, decorative plats and a large mirror. She appeared to have several lamps and plants throughout the home

When Spears lived in the Hollywood Hills mansion, the 8,000-square-foot home featured five bedrooms and five bathrooms

Based on a photo of the pool when Spears lived in the home, in the new renovation it has been expanded to hit the cliff\'s edge

The mother and daughter were so close that Sharon continued to live in the home after Murphy married Simon Monjack in 2007.

\'No one could have predicted a tragedy of this magnitude would occur at this house at the end of the quiet cul de sac,\' says a source who lives in the neighborhood, \'It is as shocking today as it was back then.\'

Murphy died at the home at the young age of 32, on December 20, 2009, after collapsing in the master bathroom.

According to the coroner, the cause of death was three-fold: a combination of pneumonia, anemia (iron deficiency) and multiple drug intoxication.

Spears sold the home to Clueless and 8 Mile actress Brittany Murphy (pictured with husband Simon Monjack)  in June 2003 for $3,850,000

Actress\'s home: Murphy died at the home (pictured at the time of her death) at the young age of 32, on December 20, 2009, after collapsing in the master bathroom

Just five months later on May 23, 2010, Murphy\'s 40-year old widower husband Monjack died at the home, from - just like his wife - \'acute pneumonia and severe anemia\'.

Multiple sources pointed to this Hollywood Hills property being filled with a toxic mold that may have contributed to both deaths.

Investigators also found the inside of the home to be suffering from a \'pack rat\' and hoarding situation. 

The combo of the dust and possible mold is said to have exacerbated the pneumonia that both Murphy and Monjack were suffering from.

Renovated home: Six years later, the home looks completely different from how it did when Spears and Murphy lived in the mansion

The home was bought in 2011 $2.7million, just more than a million less than what Murphy paid for it in 2003

The home was \'flipped\' by a developer over the course of almost three years, and it was put up for sale just months ago

The home has floor-to-ceiling glass windows on much of the back wall of the house, allowing for residents to take in the amazing views

Finally, on July 27, 2011, she let the home go for only $2.7million, just more than a million less than what Murphy paid for it in 2003.

The home was \'flipped\' by a developer over the course of almost three years, and it was put up for sale just months ago.
