*SPOILERS FOR SEASON FIVE of 'Bones' and SEASON SIX for 'House MD'*





On Sunday the 18th of April 2010, I shouted this statement at my television:

"OH MY GOD 你 爱情 EACH OTHER JUST GET TOGETHER ALREADY!!!!"

What was I watching, 你 may ask, that would cause such a violent verbal explosion? Episode 12 of season 5 of 'Bones', "The Proof In The Pudding", as Brennan and Booth leave the 餐车, 晚餐, 小餐馆 at the end of the episode.

Normally, I don't yell at the fiction characters on my 电视 screen. There is little point because they can't hear me due to 1) they are inside my 电视 and 2) they are fictional....

    It was December 15, 2013. Two weeks before Christmas, Seeley Booth was anxiously pacing back and forth in front of the bathroom door waiting for his wife, Temperance to come out of the bathroom with a negative 或者 positive pregnancy test. Their first child, Ellie, was napping quietly in her room. Elaine Camille Booth was born on July 19, 2011. Ellie's only 2 years old. Temperance and Seeley got married on June 26, 2009. “Knock Knock!” A voice bellowed from behind the door and Dr. Wyatt flew through it. “And how are we now, hum?!”
Wyatt was stopped in his tracks as he saw Booth leaning his head on Cam’s shoulders. “Oh opsie daisy!” He said, clearly uncomfortable and he wasn’t sure where to look.
“It’s not what 你 think” Cam started. She stood up and gestured at the door. She and Wyatt stepped out and closed the door behind them. Booth, who was 迷失 in his own...

Bones
I was being cut off of air. My face had been forced into--leather material. Wrists and ankles, weighed down in what felt as though dumbbells, instead, chains. I attempted to shift my body into a better position, but the abrupt stops and jolts made things very difficult. I was chained, in the backseat of a car.
Along my jugular veins, I could feel bruising. Straining my neck to readjust my head for better breathing brought me to find them. I had been temporarily strangled. And then, a greater jolt occurred causing me to roll onto the floor of the car. Pains emerged where I hadn't realized...

So this is the first ever 粉丝 fiction I have ever written! It’s only a short piece and there is 更多 to follow but I’d 爱情 to hear your feedback on it!

(Picture the scene: Its Brennan and Booth’s wedding day. Both the guys and the girls are in separate rooms getting ready.)

The Boys Room:

Booth is alone in the room and is nervously fixing his bow tie for about the millionth time.
“Okay, so you’ve got this far. You’re doing good.” (He stares at himself in the mirror. He looks down at his bow tie and yet again undoes it) Why I am so nervous?” He thought to himself. “I 爱情 her....

Brennan’s arrival to the hospital was welcomed warmly 由 Cam, Zack, Angela, and Hodgins. Booth insisted on carrying her up to the room she was put in and refused to leave her side.
“I’m fine,” he declared. “I don’t need any 更多 medical attention.” Truth be told, Brennan didn’t want him to leave either. She was still getting over the whole kidnapping ordeal, and she had something important to tell him. After her near-death experience, Brennan didn’t know if she could 熊 to have another opportunity slip away like she had let so many others.

Chapter 18


When they got back, they were surprised to see Sam, Laura, Tony and 松鸦, 杰伊, 杰伊 · where all back from their trip. They had apparently been here since late last night. They spent their last 日 taking in the every detail of the views. As Genevieve promised, she took them for one last trail ride up the mountain. Then they had dinner, and went to sleep.

And so she sat 由 his bedside, waiting for him to open his eyes and smile at her. She had waited for some time now, brain surgery patients apparently didn’t wake up for a while. She believed he would recover fine; surgeons had reassured her the surgery had gone perfectly. Yet she was still nervous and waited 由 his bedside. And while Angela, Jack, Camille, and Sweets had gone home, 识骨寻踪 still waited 由 Booth’s bedside.
    She didn’t cry; she found it highly illogical if the surgery had gone fine. She was just very concerned and worried. She pulled up a chair next...

Chapter 14
The sound of rain on the window woke Booth. He slowly opened his eyes. The room was still slightly dark because of the clouds outside but it was 9 o’clock. He looked at Brennan who was sound asleep 下一个 to him. His arm was wrapped around her waist and his hand rested on her stomach. Brennan lay on her side. Her head on his shoulder and her arm flopped across his chest. Booth was in no rush to get up. He was still tired, it was raining, and Brennan was beside him. He was about to fall asleep...

"Booth. Booth, can 你 hear me? I think he's coming to."
Booth groggily opened his eyes, blurry shapes crowding his vision. He blinked, and the figures came into focus.
"Oh, thank God," Angela breathed, her hand coming to her throat.
"Hey, man. How do 你 feel?" asked Hodgens, his blue eyes glittering with concern.
"I am glad to see 你 are recovering," Zach pronounced stiffly.
"Booth 你 had us worried for a while. 你 were barely hanging on when they found you," murmured Cam.
Booth breathed deeply and tried to remember what had happened. Pain...so much pain...Bones...Bones! He attempted to sit...

Just though I'd add this part of the dialogue from one of my fave episodes in Season One,
" A man on death row".

Booth - Name?

Booth - Bones, you're making an offical request to the FBI to be allowed to carry a concealed weapon. I have to follow protocol.

Bones - Its ridiculous. (Mutters to self)

Booth - Fine. We're done. 你 wanna get some coffee?( Booth pushes the application sheet away from him.)

Chapter 8

Booth and Brennan walked into the room and sat down. They had tried to be there first so that they wouldn’t be noticed too much, but, again, they failed miserably. They were both practically quiet until the door swung open and a young, happy voice said,
“Hey peoples, how’s life?”
Booth and Brennan guessed it was Genevieve. They were right. Nighter of them turned around because before she finished her 问题 she was over in the 厨房 serving up her dinner. They had a clear view of her from where they were sitting....

Chapter 16

Brennan woke with a start. At first, she thought it was all a dream, but then the person beside her moved. Booth opened his eyes and stretched. Brennan lay her head on his chest, carful to avoid putting too much pressure on his cuts.
His hand wrapped around her waist. He was relaxed until Brennan said,
“Booth?”
“Mmmmm?”
“What time was Genevieve meant to be back?”
“Uhoh.” They both sat up. Brennan leaned over Booth and pulled a piece of clothing off the digital clock.
“It’s seven. She left at about five, so she should be back 由 now.”...

Booth waltzed into Brennan's office and leaned casually against the door. His breath caught in his throat as he saw how the flourescent light glanced off of her sleek nut-brown hair. She didn't notice him standing there, too wrapped up in what she was looking at on her computer. Booth snapped himself out of his reverie. What was he doing? He couldn't have her. At this thought, Booth's spirits sunk. His eyes took in her slender form, her bright, sparkling green eyes, the way that her hair fell about her beautiful face, her-
Stop it! he scolded himself. She's going to notice 你 any sec-oh crap....

Brennan arrived at Booth’s apartment that evening. They had no case that 日 and therefore, she had not seen him.

‘Usually he calls when we don’t see each other all day’ she thought suspiciously.

She knocked on the door and Booth opened it almost immediately.

“Hey, Bones!” Booth 说 with a grin.

“Hey. I haven’t heard from 你 in a while.”

“Oh, yeah. I’ve, um… been busy.”

“Can I come in?” Brennan asked, not really waiting for a response.

“Yeah, sure” he replied when she was already inside. “What’s up?”

“I just came round to see how 你 are.”

“To see how...

Monday morning, bright and early, Brennan entered the Jeffersonian Institute.

She walked straight through the doors, past her office and into the office 下一个 to it, knowing that she was really chancing her arm.

Although, to her astonishment, her best friend was in there sitting at her desk.

“What are 你 doing here?” she asked Angela, shock coming through in her voice.

“Uh, Sweetie. This is my office.”

“Yes, Angela. I’m aware. I just meant you’re not usually here this early.”

“Right. Well, see I left early Friday to go to this club. This truly amazing club and I decided to come...

Brennan shrugged and followed her, but there was a hole in her heart. Booth was normally sitting in his office waiting for a call about the case. Twice already she'd pulled out her phone only to remember the events of the 前一个 night.
