Well it's been a 月 或者 so since my last "10 Books" article, so as promised, I'm back with 更多 suggestions. I want to point out that these are my personal opinions, and I stand behind every book I add to any list. I 爱情 science fiction and 幻想 and I wanted this 列表 to reflect some of the 图书 I believe anyone can enjoy whether these are their 最喜爱的 genres 或者 not. I intend to add 10 new 图书 to every list, so if 你 feel one is missing, please refer to my other lists as I may have already mentioned them. As always, I welcome your comments!

1. Ender's Game 由 Orson Scott Card
Ah, Ender's Game. After A Wrinkle in Time (which, I apologize, is not one of my favorites) this is often "a child's first sci-fi." This is an inspiring type of story about a young boy born at a disadvantage in a futuristic world. This is actually the first in the series, but I don't think I'll ever get to the others as the first one truly stands alone in my opinion.

2. Dance Dance Dance 由 Haruki Murakami
What can I possibly say about Murakami? When 你 read his books, 你 feel almost as if they were written for you. I was in 爱情 with this book from the very first sentence. And I can hardly explain why. This one doesn't delve too deeply into the abnormal, but it definitely has some elements of the fantastic.

3. Animal Farm 由 George Orwell
Though I am 更多 of a 粉丝 of his 1984, Orwell's Animal Farm is a marvelous introduction to allegory and human (or animal) nature. This book subtly 评论 on Communism through the guise of a farm animal revolution. It also has one of the best endings of all-time.

4. Howl's Moving 城堡 由 Diana Wynn Jones
I first have to admit that Howl's Moving 城堡 is one of my absolute 最喜爱的 movies. The book surprised me 由 being just as good. They are both very different and I would highly recommend either one 或者 both. Just be sure to go into it with the mindset that the differences between them are good ones.

5. Luthiel's Song: Dreams of the Ringed Vale 由 Robert Marston Fanney
This is actually the first book in a series, but I have only read this first one so far. It seems like a typical kind of 幻想 from the outside, elves and other strange creatures fighting an evil somewhat invisible enemy. But it's so much 更多 than that. Nothing is quite as it seems. I think people who like LOTR 或者 《龙骑士》 would enjoy this book.

6. Neuromancer 由 William Gibson
I'm told Gibson used to be one of the key players in science fiction and the genre itself owes him a great deal. This is the only one of his 图书 I have ever read and it is definitely a straight up sci-fi. It reminds me slightly of Blade Runner, but of course the plots are nothing alike. I can't really explain why I enjoyed this one so much, but it certainly pulled me in.

7. 《守望者》 由 Alan Moore
This is the first (and probably last) graphic novel I've ever read. I'll admit it gets a little long in the middle, but it's really a fantastic story. Having the 图片 to follow really makes the novel 更多 vivid and really sets the tone and mood. I have never been big into superheroes, but this one is definitely worth your time.

8. Coraline 由 Neil Gaiman
It feels wrong not to include a Neil Gaiman book, so I'm going with my 最喜爱的 one: Coraline. I actually saw the movie first and like it slightly better. But the two things are very different, so it's entirely possible for me to like both for separate reasons. The book was haunting and left my 心 thudding. It's the kind of story that really sticks with you.

9. Galapagos 由 Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
Vonnegut is my 最喜爱的 author, so I'm sure his 图书 will appear fairly often on my lists. I 爱情 his two most 流行的 图书 of course (Slaughterhouse Five and Cat's Cradle), but Galapagos is worth mentioning. I've never in my life met another person who has read it. It's the story of a post-apocalyptic type world chronicling the surviving humans in the Galapagos. It's very funny and flows in Vonnegut's usual humorous style.

10. Wicked 由 Gregory Maguire
I've heard people say both good and bad things about Wicked, but I simply adore it. I read this one while I was studying in Spain, oddly enough. It was one of the two 图书 I'd brought with me, and rather than letting it last me a longtime, I ravenously tore through the book in a 日 或者 two, forgoing outings to the 海滩 and instead opting to stay in 床, 床上 with my awesome, hard-to-put-down book.

the great hunt
On Chesil Beach is about two young people whose major problem is lack of communication. At he time they live (1962), it was totally unacceptable for a husband and a wife to talk about sex.
But their lack of conversation is not only about their future sexual intercourses: those two young people seem never to talk about anything!. The wedding was planned because it was the logical end of their relationship and because Edward thought that this marriage could overcome Florence's hesitations during their flirting. But their decision to become husband and wife doesn't seem to be the result of a serious...

Ok. This may be hard for some to read. I'm 15 and I really feel like 图书 saved my life.

1. They're always an escape when things get low.

2. They took me places I thought I couldn't ever go.

3. When I used to get beat up, I could just open a book and feel better.

4. I didn't have to talk to a book, it told me a story instead. (I suffer from severe SAD 或者 Social Anxiety Disorder)

5. They let me live in a different world for a while; I could try to forget all the problems I had.

6. When I 迷失 my aunt, I would pretend I could still see her in the characters I read about.

7. I never felt scared...
