Well, my guess is that the writer was afraid that they will lose viewers after they got together as it happens to some tv shows. As they extend the time for B&B to get together, they will get 更多 viewers.
The producers and writers are in 辩论 right now as we speak in discussing about putting booth and brennan together in this season's season finale. Hopefully they do 由 the looks of it!!!=-)
