I know our couple gets put through A LOT of crap. There is no denying that. But compared to the rest of the GG couples, we’re actually really lucky.

-We’ve never gone longer than 5 episodes without legitimate scenes.
-Chair is obviously the most popular couple on the show.
-We have been pretty much guaranteed endgame.
-We may get the worst, but we also get the best scenes.
-We’re never forgotten about.

What other couples on the show can say that? Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loathe the writers and the show after season 4, but I think sometimes we forget how good we have it as shippers.

Definitely. I mean, we get put through hell a lot, but the writers are always dropping little hints about how much Chuck and Blair care about each other even when they're not interacting. (Which does not happen that often, unlike Derena/Serenate/any other GG couple)

Plus, like C said, we have guaranteed endgame. The writers might "stop and explore" (cough cough Dan and Blair) but they will always come back to Chair. The premiere and finale always feature Chair. CB get the most wedding foreshadowing (in fact, I think they're the only couple to get wedding foreshadowing). They're always featured in the promotion for the show. How did the writers attempt to get people to tune in for s4? Put a shot of the epic train station scene at the end of the s4 promo.

Basically, we might get the most angst out of any couple on this show, but we also get the most payoff for it.

I never really thought about it that way! This doesn't excuse the crappy things the writers do to us otherwise, but we are much luckier than other couple fandoms!

If you ship Darena or Serenate, you have a 50/50 chance of endgame, but for Chair, we don't really have to worry if we'll have it or not! I mean, I don't really think we have to be too concerned about Blouis!
