Serena and Blair are in school sitting at the steps.

S: Let me guess...Chuck?
B: S! Ssshhh....people can hear you!
S: (whispers) Ok...so it was him?
B: ...Maybe.
S: Come on B...you can tell me.....what did he want?
B: What do 你 think!
S: Twice in one week? He must really be into 你 B.
B: No way! Actually he wanted to ask me a favour.
S: Ask a favour? From you? What favour?
B: Thats a secret. (she gets up)
S: (also gets up and follows Blair as she walks away) Wait! 你 cant keep secrets from me! Tell me!
B: No!

Blair looks back at Serena giving her a cheeky grin. She suddenly bumps into Jenny Humphrey.

B: Eeew...move....(pats her clothes down) do 你 not know who i am!!
J: Should I?
B: Blair Waldorf!
J: Bl..(interrupted)
B: (points her finger) Thats Miss Blair to you!
J: (nods her head and walks past) Whatever.
B: Huh (grabs Jenny's arm) Dont 你 whatever me! What is your name!?
S: Blair...come on let go of her....she's a freshman.
B: Exactly...the sooner we put them in their place the better.
S: (holds Blair's arm and moves her away, then whispers to Jenny) Excuse us...you can go.
B: (shouts after Jenny who is walking away) Dont forget who I am now! 或者 you'll be an outcast for the rest of your time here!

They continue to talk whilst going to the main hall for assembly.
On the way into the hall Blair spots Chuck, He looks back at her and gives her a greeting nod, She gives him a blatantly fake smile.

After the assembly.
Blair goes to the ladies room, when she comes out, Chuck is waiting outside. He hands her a card.

B: (she takes it) What's this.
C: The wedding details, a schedule, hotel reservation details etcetera.
B: (looks at the card) Introductory breakfast, family photos...woah i am not going to be in any family photo!
C: It's part of the deal...
B: 你 didnt say anything about me 表演 your girlfriend....you just 说 i was to accompany you.
C: Yes, as my girlfriend. Pretend girlfriend of course.
B: Why cant i just go as a friend! That is what i assumed i would be going as!
C: Blair. I asked 你 to come as my date. what else could that possibly mean!?
B: No, the last thing i want to do is call myself your girlfriend! Im going as just a friend. ok. thats final.
C: 你 dont understand Blair....there wont be any single people there....it would be shameful if i came without a girlfriend...i have cousins who would 爱情 the opportunity to rib me for not coming with a girlfriend. Thats the whole point of asking 你 to come....also, my father.....he would be very impressed if i was to present 你 as my girlfriend...
B: Since when was impressing your father on your list?
C: (straightens his scarf) it's not. i just thought it would be a good idea. Look im not going to keep asking you...if 你 dont wanna do it then fine...dont...miss out on your chance to get with Nathaniel. (proceeds to walk away)
B: Wait....i'll go as your friend...but if on the 日 i decide that 你 deserve it....i may let 你 tell people im your girlfriend.
C: Fine. I'll settle for that.
B: (she looks at the card once more, notices the hotel arrangements, its a couple theme with a double room for couples and bigger rooms for couples with children) Oh, and 你 can sleep on the floor.
C: I'm sure the 床, 床上 will be big enough for both of us.
B: I might pretend to be civil in front of your family and 老友记 but im going to be the same old Blair when we're alone. You'll sleep on the floor. (she puts the card in her handbag and walks off)

Later on that day.
Blair spots Jenny talking to Isabel and Penelope.
She walks over to them.

B: (claps her hands) Hey! Hey! What is this! You! Julie! What are 你 doing here?
J: It's Jenny. And i was just sitting, i didnt realise this wasn't a free country.
B: (looks at Penelope) Did she just answer me back....tell me she didnt answer me back!
P: (looks to Jenny) Blair wants 你 to leave.
J: She didn't say that.
P: Well...that's what she meant.
J: (laughs) This is worse than public school!
Penelope and isabel gasp. Blair looks at Jenny shocked.
B: How dare you! This is Constance! Let me guess...your Brooklyn trash? Well 你 could come in good use...(looks at Penelope and Isabel) set up an initiation...if she sticks it out....she's in...
P: But she's freshman....we never take on freshman!
B: Do not 问题 me! Set up an initiation!
J: What makes 你 think i wanna be part of your clique!?
B: Lets just say...its for your own good...your either one of us.....or one of them (points to a 表 full of nerds and outcasts). Come on girls I have some shopping to do.

She walks off followed 由 Penelope and Isabel.
Jenny watches on.

That night. Blair is returning 首页 from shopping. At her doorstep Chuck is waiting for her.

B: Omg What are 你 doing here!!! 你 have to stay away from me! People will see 你 here! Shooo!
C: Keep your knickers on, it's dark no one can see us.
B: O yeh, like the other night when no one saw 你 climbing out of my window!
C: It's not like they got a clear picture...no one knows it was me.
B: Well it wont be long before they figure it out if 你 keep 展示 up here! What do 你 want anyway!
C: (hands a bag over to her) These are some books....novels....my fathers favourite....read them....it would impress him if 你 were able to have a conversation with him....and these 图书 will keep the two of 你 talking for a long time.
B: (she looks into the bag and takes out some of the books, 阅读 out aloud the book titles) Well lucky for you, i've read most of these already....
C: Great....then you'll have no trouble in conversing with my father than...just dont say anything that isn't intelligent.
B: You're really serious about this...? 你 really want to make a good impression on Bart. Im Shocked...i didnt think 你 cared!
C: I dont care.
B: (smiles) Well....seeing as 你 dont care...
C: Look just take the 图书 ok, refresh your knowledge. i'll see 你 around.
Chuck turns and walks away. Blair watches him go and then looks at the 图书 once more, seeing some of her personal favourites, she then goes into her house.
