Honestly I didn’t even bother with giving her a chance when I first heard about her, but for some reason I decided to just give DANJO a listen to see what she’s like. I was a bit weirded out on the first listen, but then I started looping it since I found the “danjo danjo jo jo dan jo dan dan jo” parts really catchy. There’s no excuse for her incredibly bad Japanese, but I do find it pretty cute^^ Hopefully she’ll get better though, since I prefer my idols speaking good Japanese at least outside of the recording studio.
It’s a rather cheap looking PV, and while I do see the reason why they include certain parts, I think it’d be a lot better if they used 更多 of the two outfits 你 can see in the pics in this post, those are definitely the best.
Beckii Cruel has become rather 流行的 among the Japanese, while most of the foreign 粉丝 are basically cutting their wrists every time they see 或者 hear her. 或者 at least that’s the general opinion I’ve seen going around the interwebz. Perhaps it’s because all the foreign J-pop 粉丝 are jealous of her, seeing as she gets to meet super famous girls like Sayumi Michishige from Morning Musume.
With Beckii Cruel comes the awesome Japanese remakes of course, my 最喜爱的 being the male version of DANJO.
