Her thanks to them for finally releasing the record comes across as completely sarcastic. “I’m done with my 4th record!!! Well, actually I have been done for a year… and now my record company have finally decided to release it. OMG..How nice! Thanks guys.”
Record companies do make choices about which artists to promote and how much to put into those promotions from one 年 to the next. The reasons for the delay might be anything from competition with similar artists on the same label 或者 planning to compete against another company’s similar artist. Helping the needy goes against the grain of most people who seem to celebrate being into things only to please themselves. A punky rebel girl getting into philanthropy might inspire kids to get involved who wouldn’t otherwise think about it. This seems to be part of the point. She wrote about taking part in a conference for the Clinton Global Initiative. Most people think of her rock 星, 星级 excesses; but this is her real heart.
