Until last episode I really didn't since they all seemed to be cutesy little animals without any real character. This episode with the serpent like spirit made me a bit more optimistic about them, and I've come to the head cannon that those cutesy spirits are just really low level spirits, but there are still other more powerful (capital S) Spirits.
