Who thinks that Korra shouldve been 更多 sensitive to Asami's feelings about Mako? like she just broke up with him because of Korra and than she just goes and dates him.... to me thats a TERRIBLE friend......
I really don't care for Korra in general. Her personality bothers me, and then the whole "not giving a damn about Asami" thing pissed me off. Korra deliberately became fake 老友记 with Asami, used her, and then shit on her in the end. That to me is low, and I've 迷失 all respect for Korra. I would also like to point out that Mako is a royal scumbag for what he did, but Korra is just as guilty. They both took part in the cheating, so let's not cut Korra any slack for her terrible behavior, especially as a "friend" to Asami. ;)

She never really became 老友记 with Asami, though... She never really had any intention of doing so, either, and it was hardly 'cheating', they didn't 吻乐队（Kiss） until both parties knew they had broken up.
I can rant on and on about how immature and rude that was of Korra. But I've done so,so many times already. So I'll just say one thing; Korra bends all five elements, fire, water, earth, air, and jerk. She was being a jerkbender. ._.
There should've been a few scenes about Korra and Asami becoming friends. Then Korra checking on Asami to see if she's okay after Mako and Asami's break up.

That is a good point, but even so, it was really Mako's decision to make and he made it. 你 can't really blame Korra for it, because she didn't force Mako into a decision blindly, he fell in 爱情 with her and decided, on his own, that he wanted Korra 更多 than he wanted Asami. Really, it was kinda 更多 Mako's fault than Korra's... but, 你 can't help feelings.

You're right. 你 can't help feelings. 你 can, however, control your actions. That means she had control over the descion to 吻乐队（Kiss） Mako. He's a complete jerk but he's not the one who started it. He was trying to figure out his feelings for Korra and Asami and then Korra kissed him. He wasn't going to do anything until he was sure. Korra is the one who couldn't leave well enough alone and started the whole mess. Mako was a jerk 由 接吻 back instead of pushing her off and telling her he wasn't going to cheat on Asami. Korra still made the consicous descion to 吻乐队（Kiss） another girl's boyfriend. The mature and decent thing would have been to talk to him about her feelings and have him tell her what he felt, then come to a descion about what to do. That way they wouldn't have hurt Bolin and Asami. Korra cheating on Bolin with Mako was the worst part and the main reason I 迷失 most of my respect for her. She cheated on Bolin with his brother. That's just awful. She's impulsive but that doesn't mean she can't control her actions. She can't control feelings, but she still made a choice to do something awful to both Bolin and Asami. I think She and Mako are both horrible in that episode.
Even if Mako is the one who broke up with Asami, Korra still acted out of line. Even if 你 have "feelings," 你 hold it back when 你 know the man has a girlfriend. 你 don't just pursue him and expect him to be yours because 你 want him and you're the avatar. I thought it was a low, disrespectful, and shallow 移动 on Korra's fault. I think Asami deserves better in a boyfriend, a friend, and should not help Team Avatar. She was treated worse than Amon, the BLOODY VILLAIN! So was Bolin! I agree 100% with Athenabeth!
Bakes.She did hold back her feelings! Aftermath episode! She did something bad once! Then she laid off Mako and told him to go back to Asami. She felt bad. How was Bolin treated horribly? She can't pretend to like him! How was Asami treated worse than Amon? Korra and her were still friends, and in the end Asami didn't even want to 日期 Mako.
^ She held them back for one episode....actually the end of one episode. The rest of the 显示 is dedicated to Makorra. Korra was selfish and arrogant the entire season! Bolin and Korra went on a date.....obviously they didn't have chemistry, like Korra and Mako, but Bolin still has feelings. Korra led him on and then he finds her 接吻 his own brother!!!! WHO DOES THAT!? Mako and Korra are two asshats that deserve each other. Asami was completely betrayed.....her friend and her boyfriend cheated on her.....and then Asami is supposed to just hang out with them as if nothing happened!? Amon should have been the number 1 priority of Korra, but instead Mako was....ultimately shitting on Asami and Bolin. Korra and Asami are still friends....which amazes me. And of course Asami no longer wants Mako. HE CHEATED ON HER AND THEN WENT TO KORRA AS IF IT WAS NO BIG DEAL!!!! Ohmygod........Asami was sick and tired of being treated like shit. Mako didn't even have the decency to break up with her first. Ridiculous.
Yeah, held her feelings back for like 2 episodes and then acted on them and 偷了 someone's man. Just look at all the tongue licking in the finale! No, she did something good once and then she made a crapload of bad decisions that defended the purpose of her ever 'holding back' at all. Also, what kind of acceptance is it when a person is making faces of disgust every time she sees Mako and Sato together? Bo was treated badly because he LOVED Korra, but she went on a 日期 with him anyways knowing full well she didn't share his affections and then cheated on him that very same night, with his own brother! Exactly she can't pretend to like him so she shouldn't have lead him on like that. Asami 迷失 her home, riches, mom, boyfriend, and father. Her father in saving her cheating boyfriend's arse, and she got repaid in betrayal. At least Amon only got the standard villain treatment. Asami did want to 日期 Mako, but after one cheats on you, 你 sort of realize that your affections aren't shared.
This is 更多 of Mako just being a jerk rather than on Korra's part. Mako just flat out dumped Asami unofficially 由 spending time with Korra. I feel so bad for her, because she seems like she's always put in a lose-lose scenario!
I thought that to! IT was like ' what about Asami?' I thought it tot ally unfair, but I don't think she should be mad at Korra. She just liked Mako. She wasn't in any romantic 'ship, it was Mako who was bing an a** and just broke Asami's heart. That creep dosen't deserve Korra 或者 (especialy) Asami's love!!!!!! poor, poor Asami. I know this a 问题 in an answwer but who else thinks Asami will break off from the group 或者 to the "dark side"? I do.

I hope Asami does go to the dark side and kicks both Korra and Mako's asses. I wouldn't want to be associated with two asshats that have no respect for me. And I did say both because both of them are responsible for Asami's heartache.
It's mostly Mako's fault. He's a jerk, though I'm sure he's going to get redeemed later. I think they're setting up a chain of little things that make him look like less of a jerk until he's been redeemed as a decent guy. That 或者 I'm totally wrong and somewhat insane.
That being said, Korra was just as wrong, if not more, as Mako. Korra started going after, meaning kissing, Mako while Asami was still dating him. That's worse than just jumping in and dating him after they broke up. Not to mention she cheated on Bolin with his brother in the process.
So, yes she is a terrible friend to Asami. Asami is unbelievably civil to Korra in return. Most people wouldn't be nearly as civil to the "friend" your boyfriend was cheating on 你 with.

Korra and Bolin were never dating so she didnt cheat on him, but she was wrong to 吻乐队（Kiss） mako cause Bolin had a huge crush on her. and i agree with your last part :)
Bolin thought they were on a date, he was trying to ask her out after the match. She agreed because she was trying to make Mako jealous. So they were on a date.
tbh i think it was really rong of korra 2 just 2 吻乐队（Kiss） mako out of the blue like that. he admitted that he likd her and asami.but 嘿 just cuz sum1 tells them they like u doesnt mean u can 吻乐队（Kiss） them wel i gues u can but if that person has a GIRLFREIND u DEFINENTLY shud not 吻乐队（Kiss） them.i dont think korra was trying 2 hurt asami so badly, but she cudve atleast apologized 2 her instead of pretending like nonthing happend.mako was kinda a jerk 4 not telling asami, and then gettin mad at bolin bcuz he told on them.maybe if he admitted his mistake,maybe he cudve rekindled his relationship with asami.i understand that he luvs korra and all but u cudve told asami instead of leaving and making out with her.personally i think there shudve been 更多 episodes in da seris like 阿凡达 so we cud better understand the character's true feelings and emotions.4 example on 阿凡达 when zuko and iroh met back together after being seperated 4 so long and after zuko put iroh in jail, i felt and understood them so much so it actually brougt a tear 2 my eye.the LOK definently cudve been better and 更多 well put together. hopefully the 下一个 seris will be as good as 阿凡达 was.
Yeah but they didn't have to go behind Asami's back. If they were 更多 sensitive about it and honest about it I'm sure Asami would've let them be together, the easy way...

(I feel like the only person here who doesn't hate Korra 或者 Mako . . .) Like others before me have said, Korra and Asami weren't really friends. All that we really know about their relationship is that they like each other. There are plenty of girls at my school that I like, but don't consider to be friends. But that doesn't make what Korra did okay. What makes it okay was the fact that Asami and Mako mutually agreed to break it off, and parted ways still caring for each other as friends. If Mako had dumped Asami for Korra and broke her heart, then yeah, I'd be among those who feel contempt for him. As far as I'm concerned, Asami was being a good friend to Korra and to Mako. Instead of standing in the way of their relationship, she she ducked out and let them be. Besides, she definitely must have wanted out of that relationship anyway, considering her hostility in "Turning the Tides" and the very beginning of the finale. And why bother dating Mako when there are guys like Bolin and General Iroh around? : )
Ok, Korra could have been a lot worse. Yes 接吻 Mako was a bad thing to do but he was already confused before they kissed. He even felt awful after that because he kissed another girl who wasn't his girlfriend and broke his bother's heart. Mako cared for Asami but still had feelings for Korra, those feelings just became 更多 defined after she was kidnapped and he realized that he loves Korra 更多 than Asami. Even though Korra was disgusted 由 Mako and Asami the worst she did was make faces behind their backs. When Hiroshi's true intentions were revealed Korra 说 Mako should be there for her AND renewed the invitation to stay on Air temple island. That's very gallant of her to let the 爱情 of her life and his girlfriend share her 首页 knowing full well she would only get 更多 图片 of them being together(even though she couldn't really say no). Finally Mako and Asami's breakup was a clean cut thing. Besides a few arguements, the relationship was regular and just ran its course. They still care for each other and Asami accepted the fact that Mako still cares for her but just loves Korra. Even though I hate Korra and Makkora, I don't think anyone is at fault here
'He was confused' can only cover so much though. He should have talked to Asami first, she's a very understanding character, she would've worked it out with him. The worst Korra did was plant that 吻乐队（Kiss） on Mako's lips and kept it a secret. Don't get me wrong I think Korra is a cool character but not her actions.
Oh, I don't think she broke up with him because of Korra. I think she broke up with him because she realized his feelings for Korra. And that he kept dating her anyway. And yes, Korra should have been much 更多 sensitive when making the decision to 吻乐队（Kiss） Asami's boyfriend. It was impulsive. But she did become a little 更多 understanding in the Aftermath episode and left Mako alone. And why are 你 mad that she chose to 日期 him afterward? Everybody saw it coming, and if she pretended not to like him, well what good would that do?
Korra had a very isolated and sheltered childhood, she has a lot to learn about other people, especially when it comes to their feelings. In the first season, we see a very over-confident self-centered Korra, who believed that since she's the Avatar, things would come easily to her and the world would have see things HER way. She is very short sighted and a bit selfish with her own feelings. Hopefully in the upcoming books, we will see her mature and redfine herself as the 阿凡达 and as a person and will discover what real friendship is. Asami is a cool character and I'd like to see her hang in there and maybe things will get better between these two. Asami makes a great "Non-bending" member of the team.

like sokka and 你 are right that is how korra thought but im sure Asami got past the whole Mako and Korra thing. She has other things to worry about rather than her 爱情 life
I don't think that it really matters. Asami was not Korra's friend and it is not like Korra started to like Mako after he and Asami got together (she liked him before) . Korra didn't seduce him he chose to be with her through a series of relationship building issues (and after dat kiss!!!). At least now that he has broken up with Korra..he is 接吻 Asami and ignoring the fact that Korra has been missing for some time now. That makes it all better! Right?
