Exotic places and things…
‘He was lucky,’ I thought, ‘I could have let him fall.’ Why I didn’t, I don’t really know. I just… decided not kill him. That’s all. I carried him across the border line of Brazil…..
“What about you?” I asked. “What about me?” he replied. “You interrogated me, now it’s my turn.” I 说 grinning. “But, there’s nothing interesting about me…” he trailed off. “You forget I am a star, everything about this world is interesting to me.” I said. “Well…” he said. “What do 你 want to know?” “Everything.” I said. He looked at me, and I smiled. “That‘s an awful lot to say.” he 说 considering. “Alright….. Where are 你 from?” I asked. “Originally? Who knows. Now, I live in Gereihil.” he said. “Where’s that?” I asked. “South.” he 说 simply. “Very far south.” “What’s it like?” I asked. “Not much.” he 说 shrugging. “What kind of not much?” I asked. “I mean, I‘m out in the middle of space, there‘s not all that much where I am either… Well, nothing interesting anyhow.” “I live in a small town with lots of very old houses.” he said. “How old?” I asked glancing down at him. “I don‘t know. Like, 200 years.” 说 Aundre. “They sound pretty young to me.” I told him. “Yeah, to you.” he laughed. “You‘d like it there..” he said. “All the weird things and people there? You’d fit right in. Even flying.” “Are people used to seeing people fling around?” I asked. “Well no, but we have about as much as the usual places do. Witches, wizards, spirits, swallowers, things of that nature.” he said. “Never heard of those things.” I told him. “Witches, wizards and spirits, sure. ” I agreed. “But what‘s a swallower?” “Horrible things, swallowers.” He said. “They grab people when they aren’t looking, and take them to old abandoned places and eat them.” He claimed. “Now I know what you‘re talking about, they‘re a kind of demon right?” I pointed out. “That‘s it. But in other places they have Rokay. Now Rokay are really smart, they 搜索 out certain people unlike swallowers. They hunt down that one person and will do anything to get them. I‘ve heard that they will even possess people.” He insisted. I thought it over. Rokay and swallowers…
“Where do 你 want to spend the night?” “A tree?” he 说 sarcastically. “Sure!” I 说 ecstatically walking over to a nice tall one. “I was being sarcastic!” he said. I ignored him grabbed his arm and flew to the 最佳, 返回页首 of the tree. “Once again I was being sarcastic!” he said. “Well,” I 说 smiling. “This time I picked a nice tall tree, so you’re stuck up here.” my grin spread, his eyes narrowed and I smiled wider still. ‘Yep,’ I thought, ‘Life is good.’ I smiled again thinking about how fun he is to bully him. He looked at me like I was crazy.
I woke up early like I always did the 下一个 morning. “Good morning.” 说 the sun, “Good morning!” I 说 happily, I was happier than usual today. Light was everywhere, the birds and 动物 seemed to be as happy as I was. Aundre woke up. “Morning.” he yawned. “Morning!” I 说 ecstatic. “Wow, you’re happy this morning.” he commented. “Am I?” I asked. “Let’s fly.” I 说 eagerly standing up. “What about food?” he asked. “Oh yeah,” I 说 remembering, “I forget Earth stars need that…..” “Humans.” he corrected. I took his arm and we jumped down from the tree. He must have forgotten about food. “What do stars look like?” he curiously. “Up close.” He added. “Bright.” I said. “Even though 你 can’t see it from earth, stars, all of them are different colors, very pale shades, not detectible 由 the ‘human’ eye. And, we aren’t the little dots that 你 see from here, we look like humans, curled into little balls. But because most of the human race has 迷失 there imagination, usually, the only people who can see us for what we truly are small humans.” “Children.” he corrected. “Yes, that,” I said. “I have seen,” I lectured, “lately actually, small children pointing out to the elder humans that, ‘the 星, 星级 people were dancing’” “Parents, 你 mean.” He 说 a little uneasily. “They call them parents here too?” I asked surprised. “Yeah.” He 说 sadly. I gave him a funny look, ‘Why was he 表演 like this?’ I thought.
I took his arm and jumped down from the tree, he fell flat on his back, while I landed easily beside him. “Oww!” he said. I laughed. “Is it really fair that I have to fall and hit my head, and then when 你 land 你 land perfectly!?!” he 说 rubbing the back of his head. “Maybe not.” I sighed. I took his arm, spread my wings, and started on what would be our longest trip without stopping, from Marazuma, across the Hai Ocean, and on to Sinipre.
