Episode 92: Fallen Idol
Date: January 20, 1960
Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
Time: 7:59 AM
Railroad: Union Pacific

Hawkeye was feeling sick after delivering a freight train. He went 首页 early. Pete called Percy into his office.

Percy: *Walks into Pete's office* What can I do for 你 sir?
Pete: Hawkeye came to see me, and isn't feeling well. He just got back from delivering a short freight train, but his 下一个 job is to drive The City Of St. Foalis into St. Foalis.
Percy: Uh, I'm confused.
Pete: About what?
Percy: Why am I driving a city into itself?
Pete: The City Of St. Foalis is one of our express trains. Drive it eastbound until 你 get to a station 由 the Gateway Arch.
Percy: Where is the gateway arch?
Pete: Never mind, Stylo will help 你 out.

Percy walked onto the station platform, and saw Stylo stopping a train right 下一个 to the platform.

Stylo: Where is Hawkeye?
Percy: Sick. I'm taking over for him.
Stylo: Alright, climb aboard.
Percy: *Gets onto the train*
Stylo: *Sees the signal, still at red*
Conductor: *Using a radio at the end of the train to talk to Stylo* All aboard.
Stylo: Signal is still red. *Sees it turn green* It's green. We're going. *Drives the train*

90 秒 later, they started going up Archer Hill.

Percy: Why do they call this Archer Hill?
Stylo: No idea.
Percy: *Looks at the tracks on the left side of their train* Those rails seem to keep bending. I hope me, and Jeff get assigned to repairing that track soon.
Stylo: I'm sure Pete will get somepony to repair them.
Ike: *Driving a freight train. He goes too fast, and on a bad part of track, the rails go up, making his train go airborne*
Percy: *Sees the train* Look out!!! *Pushes Stylo out of the train*
Stylo: *Lands on the ground, and sees Ike's train crash into Percy's train* PERCY!!! *Moves back so he won't get hit 由 the debris from the train crash* Percy, can 你 hear me?!!? *Runs to the train*

Date: January 21, 1960
Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
Time: 6:57 AM
Railroad: Union Pacific

Orion was inside his car talking to Hawkeye in the parking lot of the train station. The driver side door of Orion's car was open, and in the 太空 where Nikki was trying to park her car.

Orion: So, how are 你 feeling now?
Hawkeye: Better.
Nikki: *Stares at Orion, and Hawkeye, and honks the horn on her car three times*
Hawkeye: *Cannot see Nikki inside the car* Who is that?
Orion: Don't know, just ignore 'em. Anyway-
Nikki: *Honks the horn five 更多 times*
Orion: *Looks at Nikki's car* Ah, stick that horn up your ass!
Nikki: *Gets out of the car* Excuse me?
Hawkeye: Oh, Nikki. We couldn't see 你 inside your car. Orion, close your door.
Orion: *Gets out of his car, and closes the door*
Pete: *Walks out of the station* Who was honking their horn?
Nikki: I was. Orion, and Hawkeye were in my parking space.
Pete: Pierce, 你 feeling better?
Hawkeye: Yes.
Pete: I have bad news for you. Yesterday, Percy, and Stylo got involved in a train crash with Ike.
Orion: Are they okay?
Pete: Ike is dead unfortunately, but thanks to Percy, Stylo is fine.
Hawkeye: What about Percy?
Pete: He's in the hospital. Three of his legs got broken, and he 迷失 a lot of blood.
Hawkeye: I wanna see him at the hospital.
Pete: 你 gotta do your job Pierce. We'll see him together at the hospital.

Twelve hours, and eight 分钟 later.

Percy: *In the hospital when he sees Hawkeye arrive with Pete, Nikki, Orion, Metal Gloss, Stylo, Jeff, and Stephanie* 嘿 guys.
Orion: Pete told me about how 你 saved Stylo's life.
Stylo: I never got a chance to thank you.
Percy: It was nothing really.
Stylo: Nothing? We could have died.
Percy: Just like Ike. The doctor told me.
Hawkeye: *Feeling sad, and walks out of the room*
Metal Gloss: *Follows Hawkeye* What's wrong?
Hawkeye: Percy. Thanks to me, he's in there.
Metal Gloss: It wasn't your fault.
Hawkeye: Like hell it wasn't. If I didn't get sick, he wouldn't be in this mess.
Metal Gloss: It was just an accident.
Hawkeye: I don't care! Thanks to me, he's badly injured, and I don't know if he'll survive.
Metal Gloss: 你 can't blame yourself. I just want 你 to know that. Now come on, let's get back in there. *Walks back into the room with Hawkeye*
Percy: Where did 你 two go?
Hawkeye: Uh nowhere. We had to talk about uh, taxes for our house.
Pete: Now Percy, as 你 probably know, we're all very busy, but we'll visit 你 when we can. Right guys?
Others: Right.

Date: January 22, 1960
Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
Time: 8:52 PM
Railroad: Union Pacific

Hawkeye: *Sitting 由 the tracks on Archer 爬坡道, 小山 with a 冷却器 full of beer, watching trains pass him* Here's to 你 Percy. *Grabs a bottle of beer, smashes the 最佳, 返回页首 open, and drinks out of it* I don't know if you'll survive 或者 not, but I really hope 你 do. *Grabs another 啤酒 bottle, smashes the 最佳, 返回页首 of that one open, and drinks out of it*

下一个 morning at the train station, Pete walked into his office at 6:55 AM.

Pete: *Sees Hawkeye sleeping on his desk* Pierce!
Hawkeye: *Wakes up, and gets off the desk* Yes?
Pete: How did 你 get into my office?
Hawkeye: 你 left the door unlocked.
Pete: Why did 你 lock yourself in here?
Hawkeye: I needed a place to sleep.
Pete: What's wrong with your home?
Hawkeye: Too far away. *Walks out of the office, and walks to the train yard*

Hawkeye's first job for the 日 was to drive a freight train to Denver with Mirage. No one knew that Hawkeye was drunk from all of the beers he drank last night.

Hawkeye: *Starts to feel queasy* I have to get out.
Mirage: What for?
Hawkeye: *Getting ready to throw up*
Mirage: Sorry I asked. *Stops the train*
Hawkeye: *Gets out, and vomits*
Mirage: Forgive me for asking, but are 你 drunk?
Hawkeye: Uh.... maybe? I forgot to study for that.
Mirage: *Gets on the radio* Train 923, we stopped on the mainline, the engineer is drunk.
Snowflake: Drunk? Who?
Mirage: Hawkeye.
Snowflake: *Shocked* Are 你 sure it's him?
Mirage: I'm staring right at him, and it's not a pretty sight!!
Hawkeye: *Angry at Mirage* I may not be the Mona Lisa, but I got good locks!
Mirage: 你 mean looks!
Hawkeye: That's what I 说 你 Ford loving son of a bitch!
Mirage: I don't even own a Ford.
Hawkeye: eh, up yours. *Walks away*

At the station, Pete saw Hawkeye walking towards him.

Pete: Pierce, what's going on?
Hawkeye: Going on what? I don't see anything on anything.
Pete: Are 你 drunk?
Hawkeye: According to Mirage I am. *Falls down on the floor*
Pete: Get up.
Hawkeye: *Gets up*
Pete: And go home. I don't know what's gotten into you, but 你 need to get your act together! You're suspended from work for a week.
Hawkeye: *Walks out of the station*

Two days later. Hawkeye went to the hospital to see Percy.

Hawkeye: *Enters Percy's room* Hey. How are you?
Percy: Good. *Looks at his clock* But it's 8 o' clock. Aren't 你 supposed to be at work?
Hawkeye: Pete suspended me from work for a week.
Percy: What for?
Hawkeye: I got drunk, because I was worried about you.
Percy: 你 got drunk?
Hawkeye: *Nods*
Percy: But you're not supposed to do that. 你 have an important job, and a big reputation. Lots of ponies are depending on 你 to-
Hawkeye: *Angry* Okay, 你 know what? I was feeling miserable about 你 being in that train wreck, but now that you're being annoying, I don't give a shit. Fuck reputations, fuck those ponies that depend on me to do a good job, and fuck my job as well! *Goes to the door, but before he leaves, he stares at Percy* And while I'm at it, fuck you!! It's all your fault that Ike is dead! Why don't 你 just grow up, and stop being so careless?! *Leaves the room*

A week later at the train station, Hawkeye arrived at the station with Metal Gloss.

Hawkeye: *Parks his car in the parking lot 由 the station*
Orion: *Staring at him*
Metal Gloss: Why is he staring at 你 like that?
Hawkeye: I'm not sure. It might be another way for him to get fired. *Gets out of his car, and walks to the station*
Orion: Percy told me about what 你 说 to him yesterday.
Hawkeye: And?
Orion: 你 should be ashamed of yourself! 你 just shouted at him for no reason. How would 你 like it if someone told 你 that it was your fault for somepony's death when it wasn't?
Hawkeye: *Passes Orion, and walks into the station*
Pete: Pierce, welcome back.
Hawkeye: Thanks-
Pete: Now leave!
Hawkeye: What?
Pete: You're suspended for an entire week! Again!
Hawkeye: *Sighs, and walks out of the station*
Jeff: Hawkeye, may I ask 你 a question?
Hawkeye: Sure, as long as it has nothing to do with-
Jeff: WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?!!? Percy gets involved in a train crash, breaks three of his legs, and 你 shout at him like he's nothing!!
Hawkeye: *Walks back to his car*
Metal Gloss: What are 你 going to do Pierce?
Hawkeye: I have no idea. Everypony hates me.
Metal Gloss: Not everypony. There's one 小马 that still likes you, but 你 need to apologize to him.
Pierce: *Sighs* I doubt he'll accept it.

Back at the hospital

Percy: *With a nurse*
Nurse: The doctor says you'll be out tomorrow, and that your legs will be perfectly fine.
Percy: That's excellent news.
Hawkeye: *Walks into the room* May I speak to Percy?
Nurse: He needs to rest.
Percy: It's alright. This won't take long.
Nurse: *Walks out of the room*
Hawkeye: Percy, I just wanna-
Percy: Look. Remember last time 你 were here, and 你 说 fuck 你 to my face?
Hawkeye: Yeah, but I wanna-
Percy: Well fuck 你 too.
Hawkeye: I came here to apologize.
Percy: I don't care. Just leave.
Hawkeye: *Leaves the hospital*

On the 日 that Percy returned to work from the hospital, he saw Pete standing in front of the station.

Percy: Hi sir.
Pete: Hello Percy. Come with me to my office. *Walks into his office with Percy, and sits at his desk*
Percy: What's going on?
Pete: I want 你 to listen to this voice mail that Pierce left me. *Plays the voice mail*
Hawkeye: 嘿 Pete, it's me Pierce. Uh, I went to apologize to Percy about what I said, but he wouldn't accept it. Nopony likes me around this area anymore, so I was thinking about quitting, and moving into Laramie. Metal Gloss is going to stay here, we didn't get divorced, but I don't deserve to be here after what I've done. I'll come 由 after my suspension is over, and uh, say goodbye to 你 before I go. It was great working here, but... nothing lasts forever. *Ends his call*
Percy: *Stunned*
Pete: He's been going through a lot, and was very worried about you.
Percy: i don't know what to say.
Pete: 你 know how they say time heals all wounds? It's true. Hawkeye really cares for you, and when he comes here, I want 你 to talk to him.

After Hawkeye's suspension, he came to the station to say good bye to Pete.

Hawkeye: *Walks into the station, and goes into Pete's office, but sees Percy there instead* Where's Pete?
Percy: In the yards. He's trying to find someone to take over your job.
Hawkeye: Well, tell him I 说 hi, and that I'm going to miss him.
Percy: Wait, before 你 go, I wanna tell 你 something.
Hawkeye: If it's another fuck you, I deserve it.
Percy: No, it's not that. I was just thinking that I was a little hard on 你 when 你 tried to apologize to me.
Hawkeye: And I was too hard on 你 when I was shouting at you. I didn't mean any of that.
Percy: I know 你 didn't.
Hawkeye: Are we still friends?
Percy: Absolutely.
Hawkeye: *Sees Pete's phone. The phone is not on the dial* How long has-
Percy: *Grabs the phone* Did 你 get all of that?
Pete: We sure did.
Hawkeye: What's going on here?
Pete: *Walks into the station with Mirage, Orion, Snowflake, Stylo, Nikki, Jeff, and Metal Gloss. They're all cheering*
Hawkeye: *Smiles* Let me see if I got this right. 你 guys went to a phone booth outside of the station, and called the phone in this office.
Pete: Yep. It was a little hard to hear, but we heard the entire conversation.
Stylo: And we all forgive you.
Hawkeye: Well then, let's celebrate after work!
Everyone: *Cheers*

After work, they all went to a restaurant, ordered hot 狗 with root 啤酒 floats, while listening to Rock & Roll.
