And my answer is...it depends on who the viewer is.

Now, let's just use Fruits Basket as an example. It's extremely 流行的 and both the 日本动漫 and 日本漫画 have been positively reviewed 由 many. Now I (and many other people) watched Fruits Basket DUBBED, and I absolutely loved it! It was my first ever anime, and with it in English, I understood everything and it wasn't so complicated.
