Hooray for Neon Alley! (A Brief 文章 About the New Service From Viz Media + Ao no Exorcist Dub)

I don't know if anyone else has heard about Neon Alley. It's going to be a 24-hour, subscription-based 日本动漫 streaming service on a major gaming console (to be announced) provided 由 Viz Media. I originally felt as though I had no reason to be excited about this, as the only non-portable gaming console I own is a Wii, but I'm beginning to understand that this a truly wonderful thing.

Aniplex announced last 年 that though they bought the rights to sell link in the US, they weren't going to dub it. This disappointed me. If you've seen Ao no Exorcist, 你 may agree with me that it has the potential to be extremely sucessful in the States, but it obviously wouldn't if it didn't stream, and without a dub, it wouldn't stream. I was upset that Aniplex had thrown away such a great opportunity, and that I would never get to see the 显示 in English.

However, Viz Media recently announced that a dubbed version of the 显示 will be streamed on Neon Alley, along with 更多 well-known shows like link, link and link. link and link will also be streamed English dubbed. Even if you'd prefer to watch 日本动漫 in Japanese, this is really awesome for 粉丝 of these shows. If this service is sucessful, the support for these newer, less-known 日本动漫 will grow! 更多 merch, 更多 fandom, 更多 everything! I'm really pumped, and definitely plan on purchasing these titles if Viz chooses to release them on DVD/Blu-ray.

Also, regarding the Ao no Exorcist dub, link has been cast as link, and link has been cast as link. Personally, I'm looking 前锋, 期待 to hearing Johnny as Yukio. Though Yukio doesn't seem like the type of character he would usually play, I'm interested to find out how he'll be portraying him. As for this Bryce fellow, I didn't even know who the schist he is until like, five 分钟 ago, but it turns out he plays link from link, which is promising, as that was a pretty satisfying performance. Yup. Looking 前锋, 期待 to it.

Vin_Howard2 Question, will this be a Netflix/Hulu type of streaming where you get to watch what you want, when you want. Or will it be live TV? And if I would have to make a guess on what system it is going to be released, I would say PS3. Why? 1. Sony owns PS3. Sony owns Aniplex. 2. Sony is currently shelling out the case to get stuff on their system (they got Bungie and also paid CCP a boat load of money to make Dust a ps3 exclusive; they also have a deal with Dice/EA to make DCL's be released a week earlier on the PS3) 3. I don't know this for a fact, but I would imagine PS3 has the largest anime community out of all the consoles. I guess this due to the large availability of anime'ish video games for the PS3. (man, I wish I got a PS3 instead of that sh*t-box) ---- X-box might get it, you never know. I HIGHLY doubt the Wii will get it. This is due to the fact that the Wii seems to get instant streaming on it later than the other consoles (it just got Hulu, but it's pretty buggy) And then there is... The Wii U might just get it and future p***s off Microsoft and Sony (wait, Nintendo is making a new system?! That means we will have to update our own?! They are just 7 years old!)

Bananaaddict @Vin_Howard2, from what I've heard, it's more TV-like. And yeah, the Wii's chances of getting it are pretty much that of a pile of dog crap; that's why I wasn't excited at first.
