My favourites:

(The first three are shounen/super power anime.)

Naruto/Naruto Shippuden - you've probably heard of this already, but if you've attempted to watch it and abandoned it, I advise 你 to not judge it 由 the first few episodes because it gets WAY better. c:

Yu Yu Hakusho - one hundred and twelve episodes of awesomeness. It's about a guy who dies but is 给 a 秒 chance of life as a spirit detective.

Hunter X Hunter - this one starts out as merely being 'okay', but, like Naruto, it only goes uphill from there. It's quite similar to 火影忍者 in a lot of ways, actually.

Natsume Yuujinchou - this one is classed as a shoujo, but it shouldn't be. It's a nicely paced, relaxing and extremely heart-warming 日本动漫 about a boy who can see spirits called 'yokai'. It combines the slice of life and 邪恶力量 genres and contains no annoying characters whatsoever. :D

Letter Bee - a very original anime. It's basically about postmen with magical powers, but it's set in a really interesting world and the characters are lovable.

Hataraku Maou-sama - a hilarious tale of a dark lord from another world who gets transported to modern-day Tokyo, without his powers, looking like a normal human.

Fullmetal Alchemist - if you've never watched it, you're missing out; it's a classic! Two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, try to revive their deceased mother using alchemy, but the consequences are dire...

Death Note - an ingenious 日本动漫 about a man who finds a note book with the power to kill any person whose name is written in it. He decides to use it to rid the world of criminals. It's a great strategy anime.

Studio Ghibli films - these are absolutely fantastic things to watch. I wont bother going into any further description, because they're all so different it would take me all day. :P

狼 Children - a lovely film about a woman who falls in 爱情 with a 狼 man and has two half-wolf children who have the power to transform at will. :D

Hotarubi no Mori e - a beautiful film 由 the same 日本漫画 writer as Natsume Yuujinchou... I wont spoil the plot for you.

Blue Exorcist - a pretty awesome 日本动漫 about the son of Satan trying to become an exorcist. It contains a bit of everything, really. =^^=

There are probably some that I've forgotten, but for now I highly recommend all of these. :D

GetBackers is one of my personal 收藏夹 for supernatural/comedy. It's sitting at number 18 on my 最佳, 返回页首 30 列表 at the moment for good reason.

Jing: King of Bandits is good, though the MC gets 更多 interesting after episode 8, at least to me. Sadly, it's only 14 episodes.

The Third: Girl With The Blue Eye is an 日本动漫 I just recently found and am still in the process of watching. While it is kinda cliche and not the most original in terms of dialogue, it's fun and a good adventure.

K (Project) is actually really good, though rather confusing. It suffers from "Future Diary Syndrome" in that the main characters are TOTALLY outshined 由 the sub characters. Still, the art and story are both pretty good.

Speaking of which, The Future Diary! (AKA Mirai Nikki) If 你 don't like violence, avoid this like the plague. It's not as scary as, say, Higurashi, but it is still very dark and violent. I will often address something as having Future Diary Syndrome, and that's because this 显示 is infamous for having ridiculously good sub-characters and ridiculously bland main characters.I have been told that there is a, erm, not quite PG rated scene near the end in terms of sexual stuffs. The 显示 isn't all about that, and the rest of it is really quite good. Sorta. Ok, I watched it for 9th, what can I say? She's just awesome.

Welcome to the NHK! is odd 由 slice-of-life standards in that it's not very light and fluffy, but has 更多 of a dark sense of humor. I loved it while my friend found it boring, so it's all up to taste really.

Tiger and Bunny is a pretty cool 日本动漫 take on superheroes that I found really enjoyable. The characters and plot range from sad and dark(ish) to lighthearted and funny.

Btooom!! is possibly the best survival 日本动漫 that I've seen, and while the 2nd season is slow to arrive, it will most likely have on once the 日本漫画 gets there. There isn't a huge minor cast, but the main character I found likable enough to make up for it.

Kids on the Slope is one of the best slice-of-life that I've seen. The characters are genuine and the 音乐 is really good. If 你 don't like slice-of-life, this probably isn't the 显示 for you, but I absolutely loved it.

Last but not least, DuRaRaRa!!, my 4th 最喜爱的 日本动漫 of all time. The many stories twisted together make for a really interesting plot. The characters are all likable in their own ways and you're bound to find one 你 like eventually. Again, DRRR!! sadly suffers from Future Diary Syndrome, but not as bad. The main characters are pretty decent, though I always preferred the adult sub-characters. *pic*
