Is there an Art institute where they DO accept 日本动漫 and manga?

I want to be a 日本漫画 artist and I understand that some of the art styles are now over used, but I want to continue achieving my goals but my 老友记 tell me that art colleges do not want the "Kawaii-drawings of little girls with huge eyes". I'm trying really hard to find an institute but I can hardly find one (So far I found Kyoto Seika 大学 where I can study abroad) so please help me out! I need to find one fast!
