Mirai Nikki, 或者 The Future Diary in English, is about a fourteen-year-old boy named Amano Yukiteru and his daily diary he keeps in his phone. Well, it turns out that this "diary" of Yuki's can record the future as in a world of his own imagination, there is a God of Cause and Effect, Deus, who has 给 twelve future diaries to twelve candidates that can become the new god of this realm. The only way that 你 can become God, however, is if 你 can kill the other eleven candidates before they kill you. Character wise, your main is a little bland and comes off as spineless at first. The cast is composed of some of the following: a yandere (Many know who she is), a terrorist, a super villain like man, and a hinted bisexual detective diary user. It's an interesting cast of characters. With the dub and licensing, Mirai Nikki has been recently licensed 由 FUNimation and will be staring Josh Grelle as Yukiteru and Brina Palencia as Yuno Gasai. Personally, I would still watch the Japanese sub but, 你 never know, this dub may be good. So, it's kind of like The Hunger Games and the Battle Royale with a one man standing at the end of the game synopsis. Not that it's a bad series, I personally enjoyed the psychological horror elements that it incorporated in. So yes, I would recommend Mirai Nikki. This is the trailer FUNimation released for the English dub.
